dvd retail manual
Quick ? on the US retail of MMH6...
Does it come with a paper manual?
I know we have the fan made one, which is real nice, but I couldn't find out if there is any printed manual for the retail copy.
I'm almost thinking no considering that would shave off some cost.
I'd be more interested in getting the digital version if all I am getting in the retail copy is a box and disk.
If anyone can answer my question, I'd greatly apprieciate and a big thank you!

Don't know about the retail but digital version does have a manual in the game directory. Regardless you are better off printing spamm's unofficial manual, it is simply amazing.

AFAIK those variables were placed in just because, even though you can't actually access them except when you hit the proper reputation.

Unless you mean creating a new hero for the campaigns, no, it is not possible to change a hero's might/magic orientation.

Ok I'm starting to get seriously pissed at the game already. I purchased it last night, and I can't get the damn thing to update.
I install it and can start it ok, version is 1.0.0. I go to game folder and try to run gu.exe, and get this message:
So, since game was installed on wrong disc anyway (thank you annoying online game managers that try to think for you), I uninstall the game and download the whole 7.2 Gb thing once again - only to have the same thing happen!

google is your friend... a quick search for "running heroes 6 from capsule" reveals a few green man gaming forum threads...unfortunately some problems with gmg...
I personally prefer hard copy retail boxed version over digital version for reliability reasons...but boxed versions do not stay on shelves forever hence can't delay for years to buy..

Awesome. gu.exe doesn't recognize the game being installed. Great work. I'm writing GMG - in the meantime, I won't advice anybody to buy the game at that page, at least not if they want to play right away.

It's been a few (several) hours I can not connect to the Ubisoft servers, only playing offline allowed. A service is unavailable, please retry later... Again? Is that same for you or a problem on my end?

Nope. I've, regrettably had the same problems this afternoon. It isn't the first time either. Roughly a week ago the VERY.SAME.THING happened.
Seriously, ubisoft, FIX those daggone servers before you start connecting games to them -__-. If STEAM can operate with zero trouble 24/7, then they should be able to do so as well.

In the meantime Nocturnal had sent me a most promising link that I sadly forgot adding to the FAQ since I was in Cyprus at the time. It contains plenty of solutions to H6 issues.

Nothing on their facebook page or twitter too. Then they will say tomorrow the services have been out for a few hours and they are sorry bla bla. At least give us access to all tavern heroes in offline mode I'll be happy with that.

I bought a boxed copy for my friend and he has had the same problem. He cannot get the game running. We are not thrilled about it.

with their sales on the game, I think they cant affort someone to look for that server, or...the company celebrates BH achievements and vice versa

Does anybody know some bulletproof way to get "Reap what you Sow" achievement?
As I said before I have tried with Michael and his guards but there is no retaliations on them even if their abilities doesn't say anything about it.
Any ideas?
