Sorshan has "Dark Lord" :+3 Faceless/week
Yriss has "Stalker Master" : Whirling Death ignores allied creatures.

And I will answer one of your questions - u asked about magic power and shades . It is might power , maybe u read it wrong.
There is no dark lord specialty in tavern ye? Then Sorshan is viable. How can I get him? I think Yriss appears in AoW , maybe Sorshan too?

Yeah I noticed  I didn't read it wrong, it's the french localization that is very bad (funny since Ubisoft is french  )

I'm kind of disappointed from heroes in H6. Belketh has +2 liches and is useless to me. Sarah - I had great hope for her but she lvl up like a magic class to some extend. Then in AoW there are many heroes that are useless - handlers, heroism master, regen master are useless on any map if u reach lvl 30. Then there are 4-5 heroes there with shield to the bloodless. There are no viable magic Sanctuary hero, Inferno might and Shamans. Crag Hack from DLC gives 1 crystal/week. What a joke!

So, because I don't have a SoD copy (and I don't plan to), could someone share some info about the supposed alternate Necropolis champion unit? (Ie. the Spectral-or-whatever Dragon)
I just kept hearing about it, but no art or screenshots of it on the entire Internet..

It's a small version of Sandro's DLC boss. It's not an alternate champion unit, it's just a neutral champion unit, like the Phoenix.
As for stats :
Dmg : 55-61
Physical Resistance : 45%
Magic Resistance : 46%
Hitpoints : 315
Initiative : 45
Movement : 7
Luck : 7
Abilities : Undead / Emotionless / Light Vulnerability / Spirit Form + 2 new abilities
Terrifying Presence : Enemy creatures adjacent to the Spectral Dragons have a 20% chance of remaining Catatonic and a 80% chance of suffering a 15 points decrease in Morale.
Curse of the Spectral Dragon : Target enemy creature is dealt 20 Darkness damage per Spectral Dragon. For 1 turn(s), it heals enemy creature stacks instead of dealing damage to them when attacking.

Custom hero portraits?
Hey guys, I'm an old Heroes III fan that now have gotten Heroes VI complete edition on steam. I've tried it out before breifly at a friends house. The thing I'm wondering is can I add my own custom pictures to hero portraits?
This is something I've always wanted to do and have been surprised that they didn't impliment sooner. I'm downloading the game right now so haven't actually started it up to see if the option is available in game.

Spectral Dragons are pretty cool. Namtarus are not available in the campaign due to its plot, so it is kinda new necro campaign only champion..

Spectral Dragon's "Curse" ability is really annoying (if enemy) as it can be used from a distance to damage ur units:/
I'm also disappointed with Hero specialties. We got about 5 new, and rest is copy-paste. The most annoying ones are the Lich and Vampire specialties because at least 6 Necro heroes have them... When I see another new hero with those same specialties I wanna puke. Vein, a unique hero who has his own campaign has the Vampire specialty. How disappointing. Hero specialties should be something unique, but in H6 we see so many of them duplicated...

Is Shadow Panther available in Magic Menagerie?
I checked this on test map and it hasn't them but on the other hand, I could not check some option or miss something else.
I wouldn't surprise if MM wasn't updated with new neutral unit.

Avonu, not sure about custom games, but in mission 4 of Necro campaign there is a Magic Menegerie and yes it has Shadow Panther

I have a question for those guys who use Soul Forge to "cook up" their Dynasty Weapons. Is your profile updated after SoD? I'm missing those new Dynasty Weapons from expansions. New ones like the Dragonbone Staff, not to mention ones like Sword of the Pirate King from the Adventure Packs. Do I have to manually update this or is this some kind of error?

exactly the same as Dire Wolf - 9 per week at 360 gold each. Mermaid still most expensive at 430 each

They never fixed the endless loop in the Altar of Wishes, so don't think the Soulforge will ever be fixed

Thx but 5 or 3? Dire wolf has (had?) 5 growth. BTW Earth Elemental is the most expensive (460) from all recruitable neutrals.

you confued dire and timber wolves
Dire are elite, their growth is 5(As far as remember)
Timber are core (like the shadow panther)and they have a larger growth rate.
