hmmm, what is 'boss' in Heroes VI actually? Some neutral creatures like Azure Dragons in HOMM III AB or something else?

Imagine an steroid-abusing, genetically enhanced Azure Dragon and you have something like a Heroes VI boss.
Or just imagine King's Bounty: The Legend from where they took the idea.

No, much much stronger than that. If memory serves mother Namtaru had like 65000 hp, they are powerhouses that can destroy whole armies by themselves

The weakest boss in KB has 40 000 HP on normal difficulty, on heroic twice more. The strongest boss has 126 666 HP on normal (if my memory serves me well on heroic it has 240 000 HP)

Keep in mind that in KB you have 5 stacks of units, not 7 like in Heroes 6. So these 40k HP are 56k with Heroes mechanics.

And it is not impossible to have zero losses against them if you are experienced player. I have finished many times the game with zero losses during all fights (~ 300 fights, 7 from them against bosses).

Going by screenshots, damage to hitpoints ratio in Heroes VI, and in fact all Heroes games is significantly higher then the damage to hitpoints ratio in King's Bounty: The Legend and it's sequels/expansions.
King's Bounty battles creatures tend to die a lot slower, which is understandable, Heroes has to make battles go a bit faster due to the fact it's supposed to also be played multiplayer.
KB being singeplayer only can have battles drag out a lot longer.

King's Bounty boss battles are PROBABLY (not certainly) going to last a lot longer then Heroes VI boss battles if going by the math as far as presented.

However the two games are different, despite their similarities, whilst there are deffinite parralels in gameplay, and a common ancestor game, boss battles in Heroes VI will play out very differently, I imagine it being a bit more... volatile so to speak. (not saying that's better or worse.)



But... this seems more discussion then FAQ now.

There are enough movies in youtube with this, you can do your math yourself. I have also noticed how Magic/Phisical damage works. For example Sisters do less damage then Sentinels to Ghouls, but do twice damage compared to Sentinels to Earth Elementals (which I suppose have higher phisical resistance then magic resistance). The ratio is less then Heroes 5 (where it was crazy high) but still higher than KB.

Sounds about wrong. Undead have weakness to light damage and sentinel damage is.. weak.

Anything known about how the CE\Preordered heroes and arties will work in multiplayer?
Campaign heroes usually have their specializations a bit overtuned, so I'm wondering how they got that worked out. I've also seen how preordered bonuses work on some other games but really can't imagine how those staffs and a sword would work in our case with MMH6.

Guyz, anybody know what happened to the town screens???
are they gonna be 2d or 3d??
and what's the most important are they going to be full screen, or in a "pop-up" window like in the Necro gameplay video???

There is still a grain of hope that the window can at least be extended...
I'd like to know how many are the creature slots per army? The screenshots released so far show up to 6 creatures for each side. I guess the 7th is just not present but it's good to shed some light on this if possible.
