[Question] Adding a "Random"-Button to Level-up

Hello everyone!

Since HoMM 6 is already shining at the horizon, I discarded my rather ambitious modding project in favor of a hopefully less complicated mini-mod.

The big question is though, is it really that simple or even doable?

The one thing I would like to add to the game is a "Randomize" Button
added to the "Level-Up"-Screen.

This way, when your selection of skills isn't what you wished for, you click the button and get a new selection.
You can push the button as often as you wish, until you get what you were looking for.

So? Is this doable? And what would it take for?

Thanks for all constructive answers.

get out the memory mentor? he has a big family to feed...!!!!

seriously, I don't think that is doable by modding. even by scripting.

Hmm... that's sad to hear.

So I have to approach this differently...

Well...

I have NO idea.

But maybe it would be possible to use the script of this - ah what was it called - Wizard-Lab-or-what-ever-object
that can erase skills for money.

Memory Mentor - that's what I meant!

Would it possible to add a Memory Mentor as a City-Building?

Not really. H5 is unfortunately a pretty highly-constrained game when it comes to gameplay modding. The special effects of the Memory Mentor can't be duplicated outside of the adventure map (and neither can any other building's properties, sadly).
