Ok, works. Thanks.. Aside from that, it still has the HotA changes.. i prefer the regular HOMM3, but i just want the new Map sizes, and the new faction, Cove..
Is that possible to do?

I don't think so. I just tested with the map editor and even regular sized maps with no HOTA map objects can't be opened in original game.

Alright. Thanks. I hope it would be possible, i don't like Conflux and Necropolis the way they made them in HotA. I know they are overpowered, but that's what i like lol. Besides it's the original game so...

Hello everyone , I'm new here and I see the community is still active.
I've been brought here through Google about the problem which I'm also having with lag/stutter on Heroes III HD from here downloaded:

The lag/stutter appears when exploring the map with heroes while moving my mouse.
And also does anyone have a bug where heroes models are swapped from male to female and female to male sometimes ?

Another question. Any way to turn off lagging between turns? It takes 3 minutes at worst, just for one PC opponent to finish his turn! I tried turning viewing the turns off - no help. Ty for your time & responses.

Thanks for an awesome mod. This together with HotA really makes Homm3 complete.
Any chance you'll be adding more features though? I'd really like to see:
- Option to have the chess timer only count time during the turn and not during combat. Something more similar to the original timer.
- Improved online multiplayer support. I don't know how hard this would be to implement, but I'd love to be able to Host games and play with my friends without the need for Gameranger, Tunngle or complicated router settings.

Maybe try different graphics settings? I think "32-bit true" is fastest. And make sure the system cursor box is ticked.
Models are based on hero class I believe.

There was an old problem with AI stuck in 2-way monoliths. I think it only happened in mirror templates though. You could try using the cheat "nwcwhatisthematrix" to reveal the whole map, then continue turn to see what the AI is doing.

Cool, that's exactly what I was looking for. :-) Didn't know the turn and combat timers were separate. But the "start" timer is for the first turn right?
And what does PvP Neutral Combat mean? I tried google translating the offical page but didn't really understand.
So.. Any chance of the integrated online multiplayer support?

No spell cast in auto combat
Hey I noticed after getting this mod, my hero doesn't cast spells while using auto-combat anymore while the enemy still does. Has anyone else noticed this and can it be fixed?

Playing mod with Era 2. Having a new bug i didnt have with my previous install some time ago. Getting massive slowdown whenever units attack each other. Other then that seems to work fine.

Ok i noticed now that the in game combat speed is weird.
i put it on slow cause i didnt like how fast the units moved.
Now the units still move fairly quick but attack animations are in slow motion. Would prefer the speeds to be synced properly cause the max speed setting is just too fast for my liking, makes it unpleasant to watch.

Discovering more weird stuff.
If i play Era 2 on hd mod, whenever i move my mouse too quickly the game will stop respoding, all map and combat animations stop.
Once i stop moving its back to normal
Will not happen in vanilla SOD

Sometime when I'm creating a game I can see extended info about heroes in the Lobby. Things like secondary skills etc. Which is really useful!
However, sometimes when starting a single player map I cannot see this info. Only the special ability as in the original game.
Bug?

Yes, an option for this would be great.
There IS such an option under WoG menu. Activate "quick combat battle option" so before a fight the box pops up proposing three choices: fight manually, auto-combat with spells, auto-combat without spells.

Open mod manager from era start menu then disable "Fast Battle Animation" script.

right click problem
When i right click on avatar or hero at advanced option screen to see the ability of my hero. Then the game be close. It not if i play at not hd exe. How can i fix that.

I don't know, such things never happened to me. Are you sure you installed correctly?
Which OS are you using? Do you use any other mods?
