HotA revendicates unique image and other mods aren't compatible with, however you could install Era on CLEAN homm3 SoD/Complete (no hota), disable gameplay scripts and only add graphical mods in mod manager such as Morn BF.

Are you signing in from multiple devices? Make sure you type the name and password case sensitive.

no, we already talked about this problem some weeks ago
I always use same device and always use the password manager from firefox (which works everwhere else and also for some days here).  Resetting the password did help last time, but I don't want to resett the password every few weeks.

Greetings, I'd like to propose Fischer's time control to the current chess timer. Reason is, currently you always have 20-35 min. of extra time and this defeats the purpose of having a chess timer, because you're accumulating more time than you're possibly ever going to use.

Fischer's time control makes it so you have to be on your feet to be able to accumulate extra time. What I propose is that you have a start time, turn time, delay time and a combat time, however, you only accumulate additional time from the delay time to your start time.

Timer settings for Jeebus Cross:
24:00 start
5:00 turn
10:30 delay
1:30 combat

Timer display: 13:22 5:00 1:24 0:17 (S, D, T, C)

Time prioritization: Combat > Delay > Turn > Start

The timer counts down combat first if you're in combat, then delay, then turn and eventually your start time starts ticking when all the other timers have been used up.

The delay timer is reset every round and if you end your turn before the delay timer has been used up, then the rest of the time is added to the start time. For example, if you have 13 minutes left on start time and you ended your turn with 2 minutes left on the delay timer, then you have 15 minutes of start time.

Additionally, the delay + turn timer starts at 111 instead of 112. The average turn lasts about 14 minutes, but in some games the average can be almost 17 minutes, however, you're going to accumulate a few minutes from 1-3 turns and have the additional 24 minutes in start time.

Personally, I think even with these settings that the timer should be lower, but it could make the game stressful and players would start doing much more mistakes to keep up with the timer. The suggested settings however would not put any stress on the players, since it's adjusted to games lasting for 5 hours on 135.

What do you find confusing about it? It's the standard time control used in chess after all.

This is how the timer would be displayed. All you have to think about is that it counts down from right to left. That's it.

The issue with making the turns shorter is what I brought up in first post, which is making the game too stressful, but additionally, if you haven't accumulated any time, then you won't have enough time for those 20-30 min. turns that will happen.

With the proposed timer, you could play at a normal pace without accumulating infinite time and have an incentive to play faster for more time, while also having the option to use the timer as it's currently used by leaving turn empty and use delay as turn timer. Additionally, there could be tick boxes for turning off different timers, so it's displayed properly for the timers you want to use.

24/15:30/1:30 timer is crazy. Even on heroesworld where the pros play, Jebus timer is only 24/8:30/1:30.

Yes I know. But I like the hd+ version better because of some of its features. I was shocked by this change, is there any easily accessible change-log (in English) of game changes for hd+ somewhere? Is there no easy way to tweak the hd+ version and if not, could it be possible to do so in some update ahead?

Latest version of HD mod crashes on ERA because of updated patcher_x86.dll

it happens when zvslib function is used (so if you start new game it happens soon, if you use any patcher_x86 dependent plugin like "all war machines in blacksmith.dll" or in a few more events it just crashes)

EDIT: this worked
sadly it doesn't have all fixes but it works.
note if you downgrade HD mod you need not only uninstall HD mod first but also remove guilty patcher_x86.dll because installer can't downgrade the dll. (if you have to go back to non-hd enviroment and doesn't have copy of older patcher_x86.dll you are doomed... or you may just install HD mod again just to grab working patcher_x86.dll then uninstall HD mod)

I personally will live with HoMM3 HD 3.808f build 9.exe
since I like HD mod but I am sad that neither patcher_x86.dll version 3.0 nor the 2.8 one works. I could help fixing the problem in library as the volounteer (at least as a tester).

Hi, when you add opponent password in multiplayer save game, is it possible to add it to password.txt so it will auto enter the pass the next time you load the saves? Now, it only remembers password for the session.

Also, is it possible to remember player 2's name in hotseat so you don't have to enter a name every time you load?
