Yes, I do have WoG and HotA in one folder but the problem occured even before HotA being installed :/

Battles
Hey guys, I just found this mod, and it's amazing with my OLD Shadow of Death disk. Works great, but the battles are fought in a much smaller window than the rest of the game. Is there a way around this?

Okay, if anyone would like to know, the problem was my custom campaigns were in .WoG file format. When I made campaigns in .SoD file format or in .Hota it worked properly. Maybe it will help someone in future.

Frankly, it's obvious. HotA and WoG are fan-made mods not compatible with each other. SoD doesn't recognize WoG and HotA map format because is older than these two mods.

Yeah, you're right, but I told you - once it worked normally then it suddenly broke without any reason.

Hey, I installed this HD mod today with Complete and HoTA installed, and I've got two problems.
One is that the battle music doesn't play after the encounter music (and the encounter music that plays at the start doesn't halt the battle for the duration of it like in the original game), and the second is that interacting with things like Mines and Power Axis doesn't bring up those small messages, like "You gaze into the Axis" and stuff.

HD mod is made for to avoid such annoying things like you described. And interactions are still present - just look at the right side of the screen under town list ;] And check options screen in the game ;]

And thanks god, I calculated and those musical introduction to each battle made me lose 4-5 hours on an xl custom map.

Any clue to battle music not playing though?
Edit: Re-enabled interactions. Thank you, I didn't actually notice that in the options screen haha.

Hota artifacts make the game crash with HD mod
The Hota artifacts don't have correct sprites in HD mod and that leads to a crash, the game quits.
Didn't have that problem with the previous HD and Hota update.
For eg: You defeat a hero with Hota's artifact in his inventory. You get the artifact after winning, but the game instatly crashes then.

I saw in video, that in HD mod heroes meeting screen has new buttons that really quickens creature and artifacts moving. I can't understand why my heroes meeting screen doesn't have these features. Hms buttons don't work too, though they're not supposed to work with HD mod. Any help?

I didn't use your version, I downloaded mine from this thread, I suppose this was lastest, I upgraded it to 5.0 beta 41 when launcher asked anyway. So buttons now work fine, but everything is not as smooth as it was: h3 is not in window mode, visiting things like Garden of Revelations or Well of Magic now asks me to press enter after visiting, but if it's supposed to be I guess I'l leave it as is, having HmS buttons is too convenient.

Okay, so I found what I wanted in tweaks document. To make h3 window mode I changed Graphics Mode from 32-bit GDI to 32-bit (strechable). To disable adventure map confirmation I wrote <UI.AdvMgr.SkipMapMsgs> = 1 in tweaks, and I found out that to enable extended heroes meeting screen I would have needed to set <UI.Ext.SwapMgr> = 2. Just notes for people who might need that info.

- Does anyone know how to make hero stats popup persistent in battles and not only when hovering over the hero?
- The latest HD mod seems to have removed the ability to generate new random maps using the 'Restart Scenario' button in single player games. Is this intended or simply a bug?
