for the mirror:
+ fixed AI looping in unilateral monoliths (at 1.36 there was a correction only for two-sided ones).
+ the x3dm1 template was updated once more (before this, the types of monoliths did not match).
+ If the locks are in the same coordinates - then at TP with the base ground, the neighbor is considered a lock on the same plane as the hero.
I hope the players have already tried the mirror mechanics, and will not be against.

misc:
+ removed the restriction on the excavation of the grail. now you can dig from the first day and on the SoD.
+ Fixed a rare crash when starting the game.
+ improved the caravan at the beginning of the day. (at 1.36 an incorrect timer was saved).
+ crack. that HW rules was in Russian - in a lancer it is necessary to expose Russian language.

>> 1.38 <<

+ SoD ONLY: fixed scrolls that broke in 1.37.
+ cosmetic change: the version of the HW rules with which the map was created is added to the map description.

P.S. I hope the last update in the 1.3x line.
PPP. 1.38 remains compatible with 1.36-1.37.

in 1.4 I plan to cut down the same characters on the mirror.

The difference from 1.34 is mainly in fixing the mirrors, and simply mistakes. + 1.38 adds 3 new checkboxes for the SoD.

Version 1.40

+ rebuild for Hota 1.4 version. (for version 1.5.0+ will be disabled, because there is planned its own restructuring)
+ rebuilding the library in the tower is untied from the restructuring of the mage guild. for the SoD there was a separate tick, which includes this possibility.

how it works:
when rebuilding the mage guild, if there is no library, then the spell is ignored in it. so if you rebuild mage guild without it, it remains possible to get all the spells.
during the construction of the library, a spell is generated for each floor, going the next.
those. ex. for the 5th level there is no difference, first build a library, or rebuild. the sequence of the resulting spells will be the same.

+ Reminders for Red-Rush are disabled for Hota.
+ compatibility with the new version of HD 5.0+
+ small graphical fixes in the interface when creating the map.
+ Fixed bug when after a quick restart from the game on the mirror came the heroes from another castle.

ok, i finally installed this, and i have to say, it's quite awesome. it streamlines gameplay and gives a wider field of view without actually lessening any graphic qualities(which is important to me, and something i was worried about before).

but, i ran into two issues. one(merely annoying), when running the game exe:



i tried changing settings, and i get the same message. after i click "yes", game runs how it should. is there a way to remove this warning? and possibly, does it have anything to do with the next issue that sprang up(right before a week of pikemen, which never happened before):



the above was the first of a list of messages having to deal with erm script for week of monsters. i've never had this issue before. after all the warnings and me x-ing out of all of them, the game ran fine(the week of pikemen started, etc). this error didn't actually crash the game, but i'm curious if there is a fix for it.

sorry if these are noob questions; i'm new to this mod.

is it possible to finish a battle with quick combat without all the animation? like, pressing the auto-combat button during the fight and jumping straight to battle result? i think i saw this behaviour in some streamer playing but it doesn't work for me.

You must learn to upgrade to version 1.5.1 of HoTA.

HoTA is now at version 1.5.1 for quite a long time(couple of years, at the very least).

You can make a HD .exe file from the latest HD mod's beta version, now at beta 42.

Most of the issues known to all players have been fixed in the latest version of 1.5.1. And, the graphics are so super awesome for this aging title of HoMM 3 Complete, now modded to its latest HD self + HoTA as well.

Now, all 7 titles can be played on Windows 10 Home/Pro Editions. Thanks to the good ole' Gog.com people, all the series can be played on any decent multi-core PC.

Why do you think it is the problem of HD-mod? The messages clearly states that HD cannot recognize your game version. Most probably, it is problem of your game version that is not supported by HD-mod. Maybe you have an obsolete version of ERA or something like this.

i see. i run era 1.8.  is the hd mod strictly for only era 2 and up? i was under the impression that hd mod would even run on vanilla heroes. was i incorrect?

Of course, it runs on vanilla Heroes (SoD or Complete). More, HD-mod is fully compatible with SoD/Complete (and HotA) and not fully compatible with WoG/ERA. And HD doesn't support obsolete HotA versions — so, I don't see a reason for it to support obsolete ERA versions. But I cannot say precisely, which ERA versions are supported.

well, the game runs fine with it(except for that error and possibly the erm error, which may be a conflict with the two trying to communicate), so it's just a minor annoyance. no biggie.

Heroes 3 complete with HD

I can't start a new thread to ask the question so I write here. I am playing heroes 3 complete with HD launcher. And dragon utopias and some other "defeat creatures - get resources" buildings have their names changed like Dragon Utopia - "Damelons Bude", Dragon Fly Hive is called "1. stock". and they have thousands of dragons or dragon flies in them. How could I fix this bug?
