are there any plans to introduce correspondence games? has anyone proposed this before?

as in, i play my turn on my computer, send it to the other player, and he/she can play their turn whenever they have time, without both players having to be online at the same time.

or is that technically impossible?

Hi there.

Does anyone know to translate text "Tournament rules" after entering "More options..."?
How about "show object message" in game options?
Will there be possibility to translate now built-in HWrules options (coinflip, random towns etc.)?

Hi,
will you add the possibility to start the Heroes Chronicles from GOG with HD-Launcher?
I know there are all Chronicles as custom Campaigns but not with the Original menus and stuff like that.
Just asking, anyway nice job.

please add the possibility for the host to kick a player before the game is started. sometimes people join and you don't want to play with them, and they won't leave. then the only option is to quit and start a new game.

What do you think about add experience gain factor to HD mod ?
The idea is to make the game more tactical and limit high lvl heroes in the game.
In this case all heroes will be more balanced (no fast exp).
I sometimes create a random map and open it in map editor and limit hero lvl to 10, so artifacts are now more important.
I think it is too easy to gain 10 lvl now, so it should be some kind of "limiter" for this.

There is bug with mirrored monoliths o1 to o7(used on mt_diamond). They are not functional. After testing, it happened between version 41 and 43. 43 has changelog "Fixed bug: AI craved for visits to the exits of the one way monoliths." Maybe related to this?

Edit: Bug is only in Hota, not in SOD.

This HD mod. is now at beta version 51 as I am writing this post. Please, upgrade/update and try your map again to see if the bug still persist. Thank-You.

how can i change the format of the saved games? i like that it saved each game in a different folder, but i would like to change how dates are represented so that it is sorted from newest to oldest.

so instead of the current format:
18Apr10 1118 foerno vs opponent

i would like to have:
180410 1118 foerno vs opponent

also, i would like to have this format for scenarios as well. currently, it is only used for random maps, and scenarios are just saved in the folder with the scenario name.

Can you add a check for creature stack > 0 when using CONTROL & SHIFT to split creatures on hero/town ?

At the moment you can split stacks of 0 and negative creatures (yes it's a niche use but the original game doesn't let you split non-positive creatures...).

Is there a possibility to cancel enemy turn replay (ESC doesn't work)?

Of course I don't want to disable it in general, just e.g. after I loaded a game and don't want to rewatch all 7 AIs turns.

Just a heads up on whats up with this ever progressing HD mod.

Now, the mod. just got the fresh release of version 5-Beta 53.

Time to hear all or any bug reports. Hope that there is none.

There's still no camera drag when holding a mouse button.

Replace that useless quick menu on mouse 3 with camera drag like every other strategy game ever.

5 days after my previous heads up.

Now, it would seem, that the latest update/upgrade for this HD mod. has, indeed, entered its finalization of development.

It is now, at Release Candidate 1. Making the original Heroes III HD, obsolete.

Full fledge version 5.0 of this mod. is set for just a very few weeks from now.

Hi Baratorch!

Could you please ponder the possibility of the following feature:
HD mode has provided the convinient opportunity for adding some interesting modifications into the game.
And some of them can have thier own context menu. Now user has to use the hot key to open it.
It would be better to add some "Common" button in HD Mode context menu(click on scroll wheel).
This button can be used by other developers.
It would show the list of modes and the corresponding context menu after selection of the mod.
And it whould show nothing by default (whithout any modes).

Is it possible?

please reintroduce the option to see how far a creature can go in combat, toggle on and off. now you'll have to hold down the button :-(

also, it's currently not possible to see the range of a currently active opponent's unit.
