Very good add on, at last, play Heroes III in High Resolution  But it seems misplaced for Grove town if we replace Fortress with the Grove one. The position of the building are just not right in HD

My mistake, it seems I setup it wrong  Works fine even with groove twon, very very nice. Thanks a bunch for this patch

failure to modify my exe!
I am running XP SP3, HOMM3 Complete, the version labeled as 4. in the readme, with two disks, one an install and the other the play disk. It is labeled the collector's edition, but was in a triple panel jewel case, not a dvd box. Dated 2000. I have tried many times to get this to work. I understand that you should be extracting all the files into your main HOMM3 folder. I did that. I know you are supposed to run the Heroes3HDSetup app. I did that too. But it seems it will only run in multiplayer! I have tried several things. I moved the Heroes3HD app out, and renamed my original app the same name, but it still wouldnt show! I clicked complete, the non-GOG option, and have tried both with and without the 32 bit support. I can only seem to get it to run multiplayer using the included exe. Is there a way I can edit a file to function with my original exe? I keep getting this error when I run it with my renamed exe-

Windows 7
Hi, I have a problem. I have Windows 7 and after the run Heroes 3 HD Mod Setup, that give me this error.
First error - Missing file mss32.dll, I tried google and download to system32 directory.
But...
Second error -

JizzyCZ - just extract files from 7z to your game folder and run setup from there.

I have 1080p Full HD and resolution on Heroes 3 same.. but.. small windows in game :/

Hi all!
This mod is briliant. But I got a question. After I installed the mod, I cannot launch the random map generator from the game main menu. What has to be done in order to make it work? Siomething in game files, or rather in HDSetup?

EDIT: Oh, it was a problem in settings of game version. It's solved now!
EDIT2: But I got another problem now... When chosing the template, I don't know it's properties, so therefore I cannot correctly alter the game settings (no. of players, etc.) Could it be possible to add some short description to each template?

Yeah. I meant if they could have a description attached, so that I don't need to search the web for info. And I'm also not sure, if all the templates available in the mod are also on that website...

to Buka Heroes III Collectioneer edition

Nope. It's because you're using wine and it defaults to your ~/Documents directory if variable WINEPREFIX isn't set. Try creating such file in your ~/Desktop directory:

I have been waiting for such mod my whole Heroes 3 life...
The creator of this mod automatically falls in my list of true Heroes icons.

When I try to run Heroes3HDSetup I get the error message 'Unable to initialize resources - Possible disk problem.'
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit by the way, and the base game runs fine. Any suggestions?

create empty files:
<game folder>\data\h3ab_ahd.snd
<game folder>\data\h3ab_ahd.vid
<game folder>\data\h3ab_bmp.lod
<game folder>\data\h3ab_spr.lod
<game folder>\h3blade.exe
or choose "Other(Default)" in "Your HoMM3 Version" field in the Heroes3HDSetup.exe utility

This feature will be optional in the next version of mod. But now you can invite a hero only in singleplayer mode. It's not a cheat, because you can reach same effect by numerous load_game-hire_hero operations. And Invite a Hero feature saves a lot of time in off-line tournaments.
If you do not want to invite a hero, do not select him from the list. In this case appearance of the next hero in tavern will be the same as in the original game without HD-mod.
