You will be able to turn the whole thing off from More options (ini file). The point of my idea is to be able to quickly visit towns that still have stuff to be build before ending turn. Right-clicking this and that will take too long. What I have in mind is this:

It's the so-called "Chess Timer" by means of which you can set up any time limit for player turns, combats...
However this feature seems to be working for RoE..SoD/HotA only, as do the HD mod's interface enhancements.

Regarding the new "available instead growth" option:
Why not display both? Somehow like for instance 4 (+16) or
4 / 16...

Another question: Could you resolve the shortcut 'n' issue? It should restart the Map when Pressed, but instead leads to Home Menu...
(All those capital Letters errors are the fault of my Handy, not me )

I jus't downloaded the HD pack.
However my actual WoG game screen is not full screen.
When I select 1920x1080p, 32-bit MMX (stretchable), Bilenear Sharper 3x and HD+, the game will start filling up my entire screen, but the 'actual game screen' is still small.
How do I fix this?

I can no longer play online in HD mod.
Other players cannot connect to my game and I can't join theirs.
When I host I cannot change any settings either, it says "please wait for other players", which is weird since there is no need to wait for anyone in vanilla when hosting. Is this a known issue? After trying HD mod I can no longer play without it because it's so good.

Yes, the exact same version too. Using vanilla we can connect just fine, but we like to be able to choose our templates easily and I really like the HD mod features.

I don't know the details since I play single player but you add Game Ranger to HD mod by choosing Create Shortcut, you rename the Game Ranger app or something like that. It would be nice if someone who uses it writes a mini-guide and puts it here.

You use Game Ranger to play online multiplayer HD mod games. How is it not relevant?

I only play with a certain friend because we both suck. We use Hamachi, not Gameranger.

well, as far as I know, if you want to use the HD mod online, you will have to switch to Game Ranger.

We have never had a problem with HD mod online before, but I guess we'll have to give GameRanger a try then.

News to the problem of transferring a spellbook from one hero to another:
Normally spellbooks are bound to the chosen hero. If the hero doesn't have one, he must visit a town and buy a spellbook for 1000 gold.
The WoG-Editor allows to set a spellbook as a lone part into a map, too be found and aquired by any hero.
In this Metataxer-Map of Nautilus / Biobob one hero having a spellbook takes a second one from a defeated monster and must give this spellbook to another hero without.
A transfer of this spellbook is easy by changing ALL artifacts from hero to hero.
When taking ONLY the spellbook, the HD-Mod-started program stops similar to a deadlock. With ENTER the programm will awake and the spellbook is on the place you expect.

Bug in Original Resolution Setting
Whenever i set Resolution to 800x600 (my standard) and start a new game (single and multiplayer), the button "Wog Options" won't work. I did a new (clean) installation for testing this and activated only wog mod. Then I tried most of the other settings ending with the same problem in 800x600. Only when setting resolution to standard 864x664 (i didn't try different resulutions), the button opens the wog dialogue. Playing the game is no problem in either resolution.
Update: Problem was solved with newer versions of HD
