About the 6 towns remark , I m not sure I understand Vangelis remarks , how do u win in the current maps without owning 6 cities ?

Some bugs take longer to be fixed and that's what a BETA is for.

The resurrect bug isn't that painful. When I face it and notice that I "really" have won, I just leave. I leave like a winner.
Generally I like the patch, but I obviously would have wanted to see more changes. But balance if done properly, needs a lot of time. =)

what? sorry not buying it. They had 3 weeks if I am not mistaken? They couldn't have reduced the damage of the gaze, the weaver's hp and make its range attacks with penalty? It takes at around.... 10-15 minutes...

I think they fixed ressurect. Hard to test now. Conflux is off for 1.4 and default duel haven heroes don't have ressurect.
Sound is improved in 1.4., added new sound effects, sound cool.

In other games they say at least "several bugs fixed". They might fixed them. I just thought they would say it in the changelist. paw paso

Balance is tight, you can't just reduce one random value for 1 creature in 1 faction without it impacting on the whole balance. Sure reducing the Weavers damage seems obvious, but they also have either to nerf something in every other faction OR to upgrade some other Necro creatures/abilities.

Fixing a bug (like the immunity one) can be very fast ... as well as being very deep in the code and being either hard to spot or impacting on something else. For a long time, for every bug Blizzard was fixing in WoW, they were adding twice more new ones that were directly linked to the bugfix.

Actually, I think that's exactly the way they should do it; fix one value at a time. That way, you can exactly evaluate the consequences of your changes. If they change multiple values at the same time, it might not always be clear which value contributed to what. From what I read, nerfing the Fate Weaver (less damage and/or range penalty) seems like a no-brainer, so I can't see why they shouldn't do it asap., so that one can see what that does for overall balance.

exactly. If they nerf weaver and 4 more units, they boost 5 other units along with spells, they nerf healing, they nerf regen, they boost destructive etc etc etc at once and then the game is not balanced, then it is not obvious what the problem is.

I never understood the "one update per month - 20 changes in this update", I would totally prefer, 1 change a day and testing
