Could be worse. He could have been a child stalker from their birth till adulthood, falling in love with them during the process.

But he didn't reveal who the lady was. So he got all those nails... Somehow in his body and then died without singing. That's not how nail torture works!

This story is riddled with plot holes! How would an executioner let someone die in the middle of torture!

He was sloppy.
Also I think you mean torturer, executioners are supposed to let people die, but it's quite possible to tortue somebody to death unintentionally, especially if you do not have a medical expert assisting in the endavour.

Also I thought you meant "singing like a parakeet" as high pitched screaming in agony rather then coherent information.
Also it's a fantasy, some manly men can endure torture without giving up the goods because they are beyond suicicadly capable of ignoring their self-preservation instincts.

Edit: And yes Agrael/Releag was creepy.

I was also thinking about his chage of name.
Could it be that the chaos envirement of Sheog has so deeply confused his mind, and he had spent so much time whit the cerbery that the only sound he could produce and react to was the sound of the cerbery. From that the change of name from a nomral name to mor of a sound "Grawl-Growl"

I am wondering if it is more important to have more troops than hero levels at end battles......

"+6 cerberi per week" is different to
"cerberi's attack & defense +1 for every two levels of hero"

I wouldnt' read to much into it, in the end those types of heroes make great deputy heroes because even without being high level they contribute to your power, but in combat you'll most likely prefer having a hero like Deleb with her extra fire spell damage.
Assuming hero recruitment in Taverns is still a random affair (as in you don't know what heroes you can recruit each week) it shouldn't cause any problems.

Ofcourse a high level deputy hero will always be more desirable seeing as your main hero can't be everywhere on the map at once, and neither is it viable to have tons of heroes running around purely for their specialization benefits.

I could imagine using him as my deputy particularly if I chose a magic hero as my main.

In H5 you'd have 10 attack at lvl 20 which translated as +50% damage not to mention that defense was great. With H5 growth +6 cerberi/week would be about 40% extra growth. Thing is we don't know H6 growth and possible formula changes.

That's actually a problem. You are not motivated to develop such a hero at all as his bonus remains constantly the same at level 1 and level 30 and you'd better pick someone who actually "grows stronger" with each level. This Lorhish fellow looks like a doomed housekeeper if his speciality remains unchanged.

True it is a double edged sword, they make great deputy heroes but in the end, if you have the money for more heroes you'll prefer to level the ones with specializations that directly come into play in battle (even if they are non-scaling like Lord Haart's +4 Leadership) and if you don't have the money for it, you'll be tempted to save up for another hero, feeling frustrated for knowing it's sub-optimal to level the one you have on non-renewable sources of exp. (neutral stacks and treasure chests as opposed to map objects that give exp/stats to any hero that visits them.)

Short version.
Pro: He's good to have, no matter what level he is.
Con: He has no specialization which specificaly gives HIM the edge in a fight, as you can reap his benefit with your other heroes.

Edit: So actually I wouldn't say it's an issue of a scaling benefit, but the issue of a "empire wide" benefit instead of hero specific.

What is more important is.. that such heroes that give growth bonuses actualy have a transferable Bonus. A hero that gives a 1-20% bonus tu attack will give it to all unites and if you give him the extra dogs/priestess you get you will have two bonuses in one hero.

That's kinda like the heroes in H3 that gave recourses every week (or was it day, I don't remember). They were a walking mine, and this guy is a walking dwelling. I think it's nice to have these heroes so that they can contribute without having to level up too much.

Because Inferno is the most badass faction obviously, they all have their own styles to rock.
They are just too awesome to wear their uniforms to portrait sessions.
Yeah, that's obviously the awnser!

Considering that the core creatures for inferno are SUCCUBUS - LILIM, HELLHOUND - CERBERUS and MANIAC - DEMENTED i would go with one of the following:

1. Either would be like in previous installment and the number of hell hounds is increased and you can by more. (depends how the pool of creatures works)

2. When buying hell hounds they use less core points so you would always have more hell hounds that other units from the pool available for the same buck.

3. The price for buying hell hounds is cheaper allowing you to buy 6 more that usual.

Pure speculation though.

I think I remember reading or seeing in a screenshot that heroes cost a lot more than they did in previous Heroes games. Anyone else remember anything like that? Maybe buying multiple heroes will require more of a cost/benefit analysis. That said, it is kind of lame to have heroes who can just act as creature generators. It might be better if he generated fewer Hell Hounds per week and gave them some bonus in battle.

Also, based on the description, I'd guess Lorhish's ability doesn't require him to be in town like some things in Heroes V required.

This is something I'm on the fence about as well. I'm not sure if I like the new idea behind the creature specializations. I kinda liked having certain units get stronger as the hero gained experience and left the unit pool boosting to dwellings inside the town.

I'm not going to bash this idea though as we have to see how it works, but right now I'm not sold that this is a step in the right direction.

ok, so the factions will have heroes with a "realm" specialization, imo, as it is more of an 'resource' (creature growth) booster. I wonder if within the realm skill tree there will be similar skills to make these heroes indeed get better with their specialties, such as even more creatures, discounts and such.

Also, personally I think it would be so more awesome if it was a number increasing with level, even if not linear (but almost). At level 30 you would surely see that your cerberi production is big and you could unleash the dogs of war in a literal meaning , even using them in a more cannon-fodder/zerg way if you want, instead of spending the whole game saving all the bonus cerberi you have each week to make a really big number, meaning that if you make a mistake say, mid game, from that point forward you are pretty much screwed when it comes to using your outnumber strategy, having to rebuild your bonus-creature stack from scratch.

But it's hard to conclude anything yet, but I hope they know what they are doing by putting this fixed number.

edit:

On an unrelated note, Ubisoft has launched a division named Ubisoft Motion Pictures, "a new division of the company to adapt its games into films and television programmes".

MM:H6 The Movie doesn't sound that weird now, so with all these heroes looking like real life actors it wouldn't be that much of a stretch (maybe on budget )
