Did you saw the video with mother Namtaru? She killed 333 Cerberus with one attack and she survive to more than 20000 damage.

Well, it's been fun, guys. But I don't plan to waste time reading about a game I can't play.
Needless to say, I'm pissed; but it's not up to me, and apparently I'm in the great minority. It's clear that Ubisoft doesn't care about its Mac gamers, so I'm determined not to care about them.
Who's up for a game of Age of Empires?

I feel your pain. I was a Mac user for most of my life until I joined the dark side a few years ago. While I miss Mac OS, I enjoy having access to a much larger library of games.

H5 was made available later on, but not at release, and none of the expansions, so all of the modding that took place for H5 was unavailable for mac users, or at least most of it. There was no map editor, no random map generator, and the patches were out of date as well.
Age of Empires, while not immediately available for Mac, eventually gave mac users all the expansions and full content - so that when we paid full price for the game, we got the full price's value. Civilization IV offered all expansions to mac users. Blizzard - well, we don't really talk about Blizzard much, but they make their games universally compatible as a rule.
So when I hear about a company not releasing a game that's compatible for macs, it feels like a giant middle finger floating in the sky, like they're saying, "I know that lots of other people have done this, but we didn't because we hate you."
Honestly, it's not so much that I won't get to play it. It's the fact that I had to wait EIGHT MONTHS to find out. I would very much like those months back, please. The greatest travesty is that you can't sue a company for misinformation about a future product.

I'm sympathizing you. I have a PC but not strong enough. So the conclusions are: you must buy a PC and I must buy better comp(PC)

But I have to agree with you on this one. I mean how hard can it be make it universally available (same DVD) like so many games nowadays? It really feels like middle finger in a Hoc signo vinces setting...

Mother Namtaru has 65.000 hitpoints, so that should be a long fight

Please don't go - I can't play the game either on this thing. It would take €300 of updates just to get something stable under those requirements.

65000 sems a little low for a creature that is alone in the battle against 6 stacks like the movie.

I don't want to be alone when everybody is playing H6 while I'm waiting for hollydays to go one day to Spain to buy the game, because I'm sure that Ubisoft will forget about Portugal like they did with H5

Hmm... you say 65000 HP is low based on the amount of damage a stack in H5 could dish out right?
All those numbers could be totally different in H6.

No, I'm saying that based on the video with the Namtaru Boss. She killed a fair amount of creatures but the playr gave her 20000 damage or more without loosing too much.
Since the bosses levles are just one fight, I hope that at least the fight will be challenging.

65000 hitpoints on a mob that might have a very high defense can prove to be harsh Also don't forget that the ghosts will heal her if they aren't killed.

Im shocked about the number of people whining about the system requirements. You call yourselves pc gamers and can't even afford a decent system that actually costs nothing nowadays. My comp is 3 years old and still meets the system requirements easily.
The higher the system requirements the better. Atleast I know the graphics will be better and there is some content.
ps. I dont think many people realize what it takes to have a full 3d map full of models moving, wishing for a 128/256 card to be sufficient is just plain dumb.

Quote: They haven't said "this is the DRM that the game will have". It is the system currently in place for games released by Ubi and is pretty likely to be the way for this one too unless they change their policy before release.
Like I said though, I'm not informed enough to speak for disc versions. It's pretty relevant though because it has been stated that certain countries (US for example) will not have a disc version available.
WAIT, WHAT?
