That'd be swell. I don't want pure one-liners either, tho.
Just severely condensed versions of all biographies.

Could you also change the line "creatures killed" to "battlefield casualties"?

Could you also change the description of the Light and Water elementals to read,

"Jane Glory/Spirit was on the waiting list for Haven/Sanctuary, but when it became clear that her sisters, Blazing/River and Radiant/Spring, were going to get the jobs because they used to date the quartermaster, she decided to strike out on her own.  She met a group called the Elementals, changed her name, and set about kicking all kinds of ass in the name of not being affiliated with anyone in particular."

I think that would be appropriate.

Probably they were mentioned in her biography because Shiva's speciliazation in H3, was boosting the Thunderbirds.

As the faction line up is set for Stronghold, and we know there are no boss creatures for Stronghold, maybe it's hint that Thunderbirds could be a boss creature of a future expansion...

Anyway could someone explain me why all the neutral stacks are consisted of only same creatures.? (Except for the elementals.)
All I see is like... [Vestal]x n. Why can't there be more variety like:
A) Praetorian-Marksman-Vestal (different units)
B) Praetorian-Demented-Crusher (different factions)
C) Praetorian-Kensei-Enraged Cyclops (different blabla~)

Not sure, the way there are copied creatures in the game, I doubt they would start making alternate creatures, let alone alternate upgrades for future...

As I keep playing the demo, I have started noticing an extremely, emphasis on extremely, annoying thing that keeps happening.  

Whenever I catch up with an enemy and engage them in combat, they're just waiting for their turn to throw a spell at me and then flee. The very next turn, they're out and about again with probably all of their army intact, and I got nothing done.

This has to change. You flee? You lose your army! Wasn't it always like that? If I remember right, you had to surrender and pay me up if you wanted to keep your army, right? The more troops you had with you, the more gold required. That worked great, bring it back! (Yeah, like they're going to do that now because I said so...)

Also what's this snow about immediate recruitable heroes from the tavern with no gold... Now that they can run around without troops, makes them very annoying.

After they "flee" you can see on status window whether they lost their troops or not. If you see all their troops as "lost", than they lost it, but since it is AI, do not expect miracles It cheated before, cheats now and will be cheating in the future. Do not get upset over that too much
And for heroes recruiting, as it was mentioned before, it is plain stupid.

Wait, doesn't the AI lose 25% of its army when it flees? Secondaries certainly are a pain as they are. At least the AI will be improved in time for the release.

Not sure how much % they lose on flee. Not paying much attention to numbers, as I'm aware AI will be back with full force few turns later anyway.
I would love to see AI improved, I'm just afraid "improvement" will simply mean ever more cheats available for AI.

you act like they copied half of the creatures, remind me please how many creatures with upgrades we have and how many of them share model?

it's not that bad, it looses some creatures, but it will flee only if it does not have any fighting chance, if you see it as high or severe even then it will give you a fight, and will escape towards the end.
think it's fine, as not feeding you exp is important so are the arties.

Don't worry, cheating will not be involved I hated H5 cheating, fighting an enemy hero felt like fighting a super-charged bot. It was frustrating to see it have so many advantages yet act so stupid at the same time. That ruined any semblance of single player immersion.

Maybe it's a bug then? Because I noted that they weren't actually losing any troops. At least not a big percentage such as the 25%. If there were any casualties due to the retreat, they were unnoticeable.

I spent a long time to a stupid cat-and-mouse game. Chasing after the enemy all over the map, just to have them flee when I was eventually catching up.

Not one single battle! I won the game eventually with the only battle against a hero locked up in their last town. All the battles that were started in the map, ended in the enemy's first turn, where they would flee.

And to think I don't even use main heroes. I was splitting the army equally among my higher level heroes and I wasn't even converting the towns and forts, to have more variety under my command.

It was more exciting fighting against neutral monsters than enemy heroes!
