Heroes 5 vs Heroes 3 vs WOG

Which is better? I think Heroes 3 is better in terms of gameplay. A pity I dont have H3 now. H5 has better graphics, but is very similar to H3 in terms of gameplay. Also H3 has better battlefield fights as the creatures are bigger instead of H5 whose creatures are so tiny! And the battlefield is smaller which makes the fight more realistic and slightly faster, my 2 cents. WOG adds more variation and gameplay options to H3 but Im not sure about the issue of balance among creatures and spells and stuff.

So my favourite heroes is heroes 3 then wog, and lastly H5. Anyone has a different opinion than me? I havent played H5 all that long so feel free to give your take on why H5 is better. Also the heroes being able to fight was sort of a disappointment, as I feel if they could fight then they could be attacked as well, but unfortunately this was not the case. Creatures being able to upgrade to two different tiers made the game more complex, and I didnt like too much complexity in my game.

So is H5 worth another shot? From playing the campaigns up to the Inferno's mission 5 or 6 to a few games of single player to a few multi player games I have to say I wasnt impressed. I really wish I had H3 now and a few good friends to play it with, but unfortunately I hadnt contact my friend who used to play H3 with me for a long time now and God knows where I put my H3 disc.
