Pretty close but the fact is he didn't faint, so it's not exactly a real emergency compared to other stuff that the authorities have to do. Yours was probably on the bottom of their list.

@Warlord, mostly nerves, but it got sorta hard to breathe by the end.
@1910, Well, considering all they had to do was to send a car with a crowbar, I doubt the fire departement is too busy to do that.

Yup, the firemen are way to busy playing poker to bust out some idiots who got stuck in an elevator.
Also, if you call the law system not working just because of this 'incident' , then Lithuanian law system is a mythical creature.
