That's why I said "in normal circumstance". I meant in standard skirmish maps where the objective is only "destroy all".

HYPOTHETICAL IDEA FOR A MAP.
Cool custom scenario could have a few bosses scattered around the map, probably quite far from any towns.
Whenever you beat a boss, you get control of that boss and it joins your army. (only once per boss per game.)
And you can only own one boss at a time.
Eyes of the Magi + Huts of the Magi allow people to keep track of which bosses have been claimed.

Might lead to some very interesting battles.
Probably best to mod a few bosses to not be to imba.

Oh but it could be used with that condition, too in some great ways. For example an option that every player has a seperate area which the others can't reach until they defeat the defending boss - while this player can use a coloured garrison (or doorway, or however these are named in english^^) to pass in and out of their lands.
Bur that's probably not normal conditions anyway, too.

I was a bit skeptical about bosses at first but I have to admit this looks great. I'd love to see bosses that also use the dynamic battlefield to their advantage and perhaps even change it, e.g. leaving craters after massive attacks.

I like the idea of having bosses in the game.
And i love the fact that dragons are bosses now!!! They deserve to be strong enough to oppose an entire army, cuz they are friggin DRAGONS!!!!
I can not wait to fight them)) a bit sad you can not have them as an part of line up though... but still i will stress on it, Mighty Dragons Should be really Mighty!!!
