I also found it funny that the Hydra is one of the options but the Black Dragon isn't.

Well, it's obvious that Ubisoft put together this survey and as it's proven that their knowledge regarding HoMM or anything M&M is far from sufficient, one should not expect much... accuracy.
The other explanation (which doesn't really negate the previous one) is that they deliberately ask rather strange questions because they need specific information - like how many people will answer "other" to the question about the favourite creature and what will be this "other". They might be up to something.

ok, at least I'm not embarrassed anymore for only answering WoW as game played in the past months. 
And I wish I had 4 favorite things to choose from, not only 3. I believe they were music, strategy and re-playability , but I do care a lot for the rpg elements too.

Yeah same, I wish I had another vote for the RPG elements, there's a lot more then 3 things I like about this series, heck not all of them were listed.

They would give much more detailed results, then again, maybe they really want to make us carefully consider which 3 elements we prize most.

I filled in that survey and I think it was a really great idea. I hope that will be a hungarian one survey too in the near future to our country as well. Here are many Might and Magic Heroes fans who are waiting for this game really much.

Yeah that may be the weak part of the survey only. I would almost choose all of one if I can from that 10 best thing in the Heroes series list.

I answered "What do you like most about Might & Magic's universe" with an explanation of how I liked the previous, unique, post-apocalyptical fantasy setting.
Not to be mean, but the current setting is very much so bland, generic fantasy, and while it's not bad, it doesn't hold a candle to Antagarich and Enroth in terms of an original and unique background. Hope they take note of that.
Also, write-in votes for Heroes III Fortress for favorite town and Mighty Gorgons for favorite creatures, I WILL keep the real Fortress's memory alive!
I do wish we had been able to pick more than 3 options for what we loved about the series; I could have picked most of them, to be honest, but as it is I was forced to put one as "slow-paced, turn-based gameplay" in order to ensure they don't get any funny ideas about changing that up.
I also agree with the person who said they should drop a reference to Ashan being in the NWC Might&Magicverse as simply a different planet; that would settle a lot of dispute and give them a convincing justification for setting any future games in the old worlds or involving old characters, like Crag Hack or Sandro. Doubt that it'll happen, but hey, we can dream.

Filled up the survey! Pretty strange they do not have Black Dragon in a creature choice, also they are asking if we played Starcraft 2, but not asking about Disciples or Kings Bounty...??? Anyways, hope it makes difference cuz i really want to see HoMM4-like (i don't include expansions)campaigns with Interesting storyline, not like it was in HoMM5!

Maybe they mean by appearance, and I don't recall another creature looking like the Titan or griffin. But if they put too many four-legged winged animals, like griffin, lamasu, manticore, chimera, hyppogryph, who knows what else, the griffin (actually all of them) might lose its 'magic' or 'individuality'. The same might apply for Titan and a bunch of giants in the same game.
Or not.
