@Moljac & Adriancat: It is pretty much confirmed (unless insiders throw pranks on us to say "Gotcha!" post-5th-announcement), the 5th will be Nagas, well it will be either "Totaly New" Naga Faction or it would be "New" for Ashan. In later case, the incarnation of Heroes 3's Fortress with new atmosphere I predict. As the name of the Castle (e.g: Haven, Necropolis, Stronghold, Inferno) is quite confirmed as well. It would be called Sanctuary.

Since when was this ever "confirmed"? Yes, there are a lot of speculations and even indications, but I have yet to see any confirmation.

Yes it is not officially confirmed but all the clues are pointed to them (The Nagas).

I'm not sure if they will use Sanctuary since it sounds similar to Stronghold for new (and especially foreign) players, plus Haven and Sanctuary have a similar meaning anyway (then again Asylum as well)...

i don't want to be misunderstood guys,but naga is pretty good for a unit but not for an entire race.someone may say now that the 5th race is the Rakshasa (to replace Academy : "Vengeful spirits from a forgotten age, the Rakshasas have lingered on the fringes of Ashan for millennia. Thirsty for revenge, these creatures have been rediscovered by Wizard travellers who - after many unsuccessful attempts - managed to summon and control them efficiently. The Rakshasa Rani are an imposing force on the battlefield, intimidating the enemy with their multi-armed, lion-headed bodies and wickedly sharpened blades. So fearful are their attacks that the enemy is unable to retaliate against them."),and so on...Maybe the 5th race will be Dragon Knights because the time in which heroes 6 takes action is the same time for Dragon Knights...Also 5th race could be Faceless,an elven race ("Elder Wars:

It's still 99.99% chance that the Naga will be the fifth race and not Rakshasa (lol, I had an idea for a Rakshasa town years ago XDD), Faceless (they will still appear but unfortunaly, they seem to just look like dark angels -.- I expected something more cthuluish, WoWish I guess lol) or Elementals (I don't think Conflux was very well received, OP town lol)

the Faceless is probably going to look like the angels in Diablo...
But hopefully not, However it would be hilarious if the 5th faction actually was a huge surprise XD
I mean who would have thought the Predators would be the 5th faction, but it makes so much sense.
I mean they will have the Jungle terrain and they have been brought to Ashan to hunt the demons that have been unleashed with Lunar Eclipse.
With their technology they are probably going the focus a lot on both magic AND might.
I wonder what kind of heroes they will have and what connection the 5th child will have with them....

Oh hell yes, the Predator faction is a must! They should have the invisibility skill from H5 TOE dungeon and some trap skills also.

Predator faction would fit better in the old world, where they could be enemies of the alien Kreegans.
If anyone can come up with a line-up, it should include both aliens and predators... If you take into account all the films and especially the old arcade from Capcom, there are enough variations of them out there.

3. Alien Egg (like the Breeder, it spawns facehuggers! )
