Medusas urrgh!!!
Hey i might be wrong but i think that the first picture of a medusa has been featured at www.hmm4.com in the pictures of the week section. I attempted to get a picture of it but could not for several reasons. If you wish to view what might be the Medusa of heroes 4 go to www.hmm4.com and view the picture of the week section. Wait for the picture of the male lich to be covered by the next picture and voila. The medusa (supposedly) of heroes 4!
But seeing as it is nearly the end of the week all of those wishing to view the picture had better hurry because i can not view it anywhere else.
After you have viewed it please post what you think of it. My quote is: why the heck did they give it legs???

Why did they add legs though? They look like they are dressed up for a haloween party or something. Bring back the snake bottomed medusas instead of those stupid hags.

well, the medusas somewhat resemble the harpies this time, but (strangely in my case) they are ok imho. and i didn't notice anything that would most certainly contradict mythology.
it's the phoenix that makes me say 'Argh.' well, at least on this picture it looks like those who were fans of flight simulators about 10 years ago are probably happy to see the new texture. something for everyone.

I love this medusa!
This time It doesn't look like the Naga that much.
And I love the fact they have that ugly look!(Now i'm more pretty in every case!)
Ow and the creature art we saw first(you know the ugly black/white art version) is also improved! I really hated that one! But now she turned out very cool!
I like the change!

the medusa is gorgeous,this deffinetly is one of the best ideas in the game.
(and -- the real medusa gorgona has legs)

They should call the medusa a Gorgon.
That's way better.
medusa is just like a girl name. you don't have armies of medusa.
Gorgons that is much better.
And call the other bull gorgon a Beetle Bull?

gorgon means terrific
but the medusa is a good name
it is something primeordial, something that is born before this order with deadly instinkts and bloodlust. i like it

Call the mermaid Kelly's!Because a famous mermaid was called kelly!
Gorgon is much better! And there aren't any beetle like bulls in Homm4 so why not give that name to the medusa?
Strange.. In the first view of the homm4 creatures(a long time ago)
there were this creatures to be claimed to be in homm4.

Light Elemental
Azure dragon
others I forgot. But strange.. Almost half of that didn't made it to the later version of homm4.. only the Vampire and the efreet are in homm4

It has always been called a Medusa so why change it now? Besides i like the name anyways. Maybe if it was called gorgon in heroes 2 then the name could be better but now i am suited with it called medusa.

Ouch. Just saw the medusa for the first time, and that is just crap. I won't say "ugly" for reasons mentioned in the other debate, but I like the old design better. It's not the legs that bother me, the medusa itself looks like an old man not a lady.
