I do not know, but I happen to love the 3d map, it is very functional to say the least.
That said, I am getting more and more immersed in the game, though I am not doing much exploration per se. Been reading books in Whiterun for all I care !

There's not enough new books though... read most of them already in previous games.
I found myself a treasure map! Didn't find any in my first playthrough

Dragons are getting butthurt considering they send a new one after me every 10 minutes.
Srsly, I got like 5 freaking souls and no new shouts to spend them on

Umm... are T-map locations random? Cause if not I think I can tell where to find T-map IV. Or so I think, the two exact locations I have in mind are interrelated (meaning I got the piece while visiting one of them).

@Gnu: Wrong of me to call it a playthrough... like I discovered everything haha ah hell no... second character though, yes.
I mean hell, I can't rightly say I've discovered everything in Oblivion yet even.

Hehe I am such a brazen bast***. If you know the Alik'R quest redguard one, let's just say I dealt with both sides with the tip of my blade. Can't say it feels bad but the reward is nice (tho I lost a trader).

I recently did that quest for the 2nd time... helped the first party this time around.
...see I had this Storm Atronach scroll that I REALLY felt like trying out and that quest gives ya a whole room of powerful test subjects... let's just say it fricking slaughtered everything in the room. Impressive stuff... to be able to unleash that kinda stuff at a whim... being a conjurer sounds cool as well..

Oh yes they do, they feeling of power is quite intoxicating.
Shield + Weapon is the only really viable option on the Master difficulty from what I hear... I don't play that though... kind of difficulty where you need to hack things like 200 times for things to happen.
Shield + magic could work pretty awesomely however. Just anything involving a shield is supa-powered.
