There's not much to say. New artifacts and combination artifacts are revealed, new heroes (90% of whom are from the Might and Magic RPGs) and their portraits by Morn are revealed.
Aleee says HotA's still being worked upon. My advice is stop worrying, hope it gets done and busy yourself with some other occupation in the meantime.

It would have no sense. In this thread one guy also gave a link to some alpha/beta (not sure, couldn't check) version. If someone wants to share leaked HotA he hasn't to have the official thread opened.

On russian forum I can't see anything new. There are only messages from users about HotA.  Sometimes there are public some pictures from game.

just from curiosity will we be able to play the Hota Mod with the Complete Version of Heroes 3.
I mean I... my self I like WOG very much but I like more the original version and I think it would be great to add the new towns and races to the original game and keep it "simple"
Will it be possible?

The dll file does re-route the code from original executable to piece of code stored in the dll file and extends the internal tables (town animations, building coordinates in town, creatures, spells and many others). In essence the same as WoG and most of WoG plugins. This file can also be linked to editor to add new features to it. The texts are stored in HotA.dat file and it is not plain text.

'H3-modders' are people too) we have work in real life or even kids.
and of course we have problems with coding/programming for HotA. sadly, for now it based on SoD and I hope you understand how difficult to make all these creature abilities or whatever like that work in SoD (without ERM etc.)
obviously, start working with SoD was a big mistake, but now is too late to talk about it.
version 2 will be based on modified WoG engine (Era), but in this particular moment we try to finish first public HotA on SoD and it's f**king hell
