I've got ERA installed and I still get the first aid tent hang. Even without scripts enabled. Guess it's just weird

I followed the installation instructions, it said it installed succesfully, but when I try to run it it claims it's missing the mss and Smaker32 DLL files? Am I doing something wrong?

these files ar from original HoMM installation, so you either installed it to wrong directory or deleted them by accident. If this is the case, you may try to download them from some kind of replacement websites like dll-files

I have not modified or deleted them,
HoMM3 runs fine, I assume it's been installed in the correct directory. Anything else I could do?

What do you mean?
During installation it asked for the location of my existing HoMM3 installation, which was c:/program files/3DO/Heroes 3 Complete.
And thanks for helping me with this. I'm new to HC, not sure how things work.

Well... Wow. It seems like you did everything right and nevertheless the game refuses to work because of missng file..
Could you write exact text of the error message (or upload a screenshot of it)?

Sometimes it says it cannot run because Smaker32.dll was not found, sometimes it is mss32.dll that isn't found.
Also thought I'd mention whenever I try to start it, I get a message saying It cannot find h3wog.exe and asks me to locate the file, after I do so I get these errors.

Wow.. Where is your h3wog.exe file? If it's in directory other than the one where heroes3.exe is located, then copy h3wog.exe to the same dir as heroes3.exe

Yay! It now works.
I tried what you suggested Solitaire, and put h3wog.exe in the heroes folder. But it still said it was missing files. So I extracted all the files from the download again, into the heroes folder and tried it again.
I guess I didn't realise you had to extract the files to the heroes folder, as well as set the correct path in the installer.
