Been playing V4 for a couple of hours now, NOT A SINGLE CRASH!! Normally it often crashed at least once each hour  Seems like the patches against crashes on multicore/hyperthreading CPU's really works!

Unfortunately no. I cannot adapt Era to any other exe. But you can still use h3custom.lod or h3wog.lod for your mod.

Play issues
The page for 3.58f Plus ERA 1.81 is no longer working?
I'm running a copy from GOG.com, then do the installer from Post 3. Couple things of note:
1. Artifact Boost option. Right clicking on objects 1-5 gives a WoG error click-through, eventually showing the description of the artifact. (Assuming you don't CR through it.)
2. Grail in a Conflux. Really bad news. Anytime you click on a creature, or the mage guild, or even EXIT, you get to click through 3 or 4 sets of error messages. One of them says something about the Admiral's Hat. Here's the first few lines of WOGERMLOG:

You are using an old version. Try the newer one. Script 25 is fixed in it.

Conflux Grail Weirdness
Used to be I could put the grail in my ally's conflux and get all spells. Last night, I put it in his conflux, the mage guild showed all scrolls, but no matter how many times I stepped back and forth into the town, I could never get the 4ths and 5ths I did already have. (I already had all 3rd and lower.) My ally could get them, and expert Scholar transferred normally, but I could not. So I reloaded and waited a couple turns to take an enemy conflux, installed it there, and then it worked normally. Both me and my ally could use that Aurora as usual.
Is this an intentional change, or is there some glitch in my install, or what? I have nothing but the 3.58+1.81 installed. I double checked the WoG options and don't see anything out of place.
I kept the save, so I could try giving the grail to my ally and let him build the Aurora, if it helps isolate a potential glitch.

Jusst to make sure, I reloaded the save, built it in his conflux, this time it worked fine.
I had Expert Wis, Expert Earth, no one was garrisoned. I can't explain why, but for the rest of the original game, I had to equip the Tome of Earth in order to Town Portal. But I cannot duplicate it.
All is well. Thanks for the replies.
