any changes , maybe i try change some wog options, loaded default options same error... i try instal one more h3.

installed one more h3 , instaled wog + era pack and amethyst , first h3 launch and same error.. i think my 1 level units be without artifact LOL

now i deleted all amethist files , i leave only one amethyst.dll in plugins directory , and launched era , then apear message that canot find amethyst.cfg , but game worked good , but still have same error with first level units , only when removing amethyst.dll all working ok

I try up to 210th monster. After 207 - bugs with spell animation appears

now all is working only left , that thing with 1 level units repair.. dont have any idea how do that.. only can try change crexpmod.txt..

What do I do with the amethyst.dll under ERAPlugins?

I can't seem to find an existing folder named "EraPlugins"

Hm... that's possibly why. So I have WOG with no back up of SoD. CD lost some time ago how would I install ERA in that case?

Okay I got the ERA set up.

I followed the instructions posted in the very beginning of this thread.

I set the sample creature to level 1 in town 1 (Assuming this is rampart)

I started WOG and..... it's still centaur.

What's going on? Is there a way I can add creature 197 on the map by using map editor?

I don't think that the values you selected refer to town. IIRC they are just alignment and level, not the dwelling in town.

you need the map editor patch installed (I can't seem to find the link now. but it is somewhere in forums...). when you have it, you right-click the creature you want to change and select "Advanced Properties" and in the "Subtype" field you write a number of your creature (note that they begin at zero)

I do have the map edit patch (or something like that which adds a "wog tools" tab on the map editor), however, creature number 197 is not showing up under "54 Creatures". The last one on the list is still 196 Dracolich.

Have you tried to simply change it to 197? I think that works just fine. Or maybe the editor crashes. I don't remember actually

Tried that. Editor didn't crash but when I try to move the mouse over it in game WOG crashed.

H3WOG.exe

I think i'm missing a adventure-map creature animation def.... Was that not provided by the sample? I couldn't seem to find a small animation file. Also which txt list tells wog to associate a creature's adventure map def with the creature?
