I have two little problem with adding new creatures.
the first:

and the second, when i click on the pikeman, the program write this error massage:

Do you know h&#417; to use NOT USED (122, 124, 126, 128)??? as a monster. MasterOfPuppets say something at DF2 forum but i do not understand RUS. Google translate that thing, i have confuse

1. create def files, named bad1, bad2, bad3, bad4 (without the *.DEF  extension) and place them to lod
2. create unit sound files with prefixes bad1, bad2, bad3, bad4 and put them to heroes3.snd
3. create adventure def, change frames in CPRSMALL.DEF, TWCRPORT.DEF, and AVWATTK.DEF
4. edit the creature entries in text files
5. enjoy

alternatively, you could modify the exe file and change the badN strings to whatever you want

Afaik, trouble is in one of the warfare scripts

Either use a different creature number or rename the warfare script files so they never get loaded.

The only one you should have to worry about renaming is script73.erm (war machines III)
Make sure you have War machines II option disabled in Wog options as well though (script55.erm). Those are the only two scripts that I'm aware of that use creature number you asked about
