Felix smiled and said, "You are an expert assassin and fighter. The only reason you were defeated today is because you were caught by surprise. I doubt you would make the same mistake again. However, the most important thing is that you are smart and can think logically. Honestly, you don't find many people with that sort of resumé. Miasma left her body. It lowered its head to wait for Ouroboros's finishing blow.
But G9 had other plans.
Moving fast enough to blur across Ouroboros's field of vision, G9 slammed into Miasma and both disappeared in a flash of black. (G9 and Xion were meeting the night before. G9 left to hunt Miasma again before they began their attack.)
One warehouse crumbled as two sepperate lines of black destroyed its walls and support beams. Ouroboros had to warp out of the way as one of them sped down the streets to escape the other. Whichever one it was, it took Ouroboros's sword with it.
More ambulances began to arrive and more people took notice of the absolute destruction that had happened in the docks.

"What is this? Another one?" said Ouroboros as he struck his hands out. "I will not be party to this. YOU SHALL DIE!"
He then brought his hands together and stopped time. What was once shadowy blurs were now just dark figures locked in a petrified battle. Ouroboros summoned his sword out of G9's hands and the walked to them. However, he could not tell which was which, so he chopped off the head of one them, and then raised his sword to kill the other.
"Yes" replied Felix. " I don't want them all killed, however. The one that must die though, is Melony. The ability to drain one of his or her powers is one we cannot abide. Alternatively, if you can find a way nullify that power, then all is well."

"We could simply kill Miasma, the shadow living inside of her." Kane said. "But it's not the only one. There's another one pretty much like it, also able to bend shadows and drain powers. Killing the girl would be unnecessary."

The first one, literally, bit his sword. The blade bent around G9's maw as it began to crunch down on the metal. "You're not going to kill either of us that easily, did you realize that you just tried to kill a specter with a physical object?, and you can only stop either of us for so long... Especially if we are this close together." It spit the blade at the ground. "Now go home, mortal. You are powerful, and I'd rather keep you alive for the futu-" Miasma broke free as well at that moment. It barreled into G9 and both disappeared again.
This time, neither of them came back.

"Then we would have to do our best to kill both of them if you are so sure about keeping Melony alive." replied Felix.
Ouroboros sighed, threw his sword down, and picked up Melony.
"You know about it and have been possessed by it. So must know how to kill it." he muttered as he teleported into his home with Melony.

"Indeed." Kane answered. "But physical weapons does not work, and it is all I have. The only other choice is to kill the host, but it would be absolutely impossible to identify if Miasma is to leave Melony."

Ouroboros teleported directly into a room very much like the one Lisa got. He changed her out of her clothes into fresh new ones and laid her in the bed. He then left into the dining room where Lisa was.

Kane smiled. "Ahh, good plan. I figure Archon might still be on the scene of the fight unless he has escaped. This is still our best chance to even find him."

G9 and Miasma continued fighting for another ten minutes. Both knew that one of them was only trying to hold out long enough that the other one would be forced to find a host first, because the other one was stronger.
The stronger one relentlessly hunted its lesser. Until, finally, it trapped it. The weaker yelled out in fury and pain as the stronger combined with it. A pillar of darkness flashed up from the point of combination.
The creature walked back to Xion's center of power. "My hunt was successful, Xion." It told the villain. "I no longer need a host. And do not call me G9 anymore... My name is Griel." Greil's purple eyes flashed brightly once. "Now, what are we going to do?"
Two days later, Melony opened her eyes to a nice and dimly lit room. Her eyes were very grateful for that... But where was she?
She began to sit up and remembered that there should be something that hurt or that prevented her from doing so... But the burns were gone. -Miasma? What happened? Where am I?-
When nothing answered her, Melony curled up on the bed. -Where are you? Where is everyone? Miasma...-

Kane nodded. "Then the job is not finished by me, and I do not deserve the payment for that job. I will do what I can when killing the shadows, when that time comes." he rose slowly. "Is there somewhere I could ... freshen up? I feel the need to clean up a bit of blood."

Someone or something hit me in the back of my head. Whatever it was it was powerful enough to make me fall over on the ground. For a few moments I was too dizzy and out of it to notice what happened around me, but when I came too I quickly got back up again, just in time to watch Archon demolish the droids. He and Miasma had by all appearance, destroyed all of the droids coming marching towards us. And for some reason the mortar teams where destroyed. All that remained was Archon, me, Miasma and Econ. Wait? Where was Jack Kane and Iratus Virgo? Damn! She must have woken up while we were fighting. But where was Kane? Where was Jack Kane? I looked around in search, but so no trace of the bald man.
"Anyway, we gotta take care of Archon!" I said as I took out the loaded WDDI-pistol and aimed at Archon. However, as I shot the first shot, Miasma did something that sent Archon flying into a nearby warehouse. And from the looks of it he was not coming back out again. "Did that do it?" I asked the shadow as Ouroboros appeared out of nowhere.
"Ohh you got to be kidding me?! Where does these guys keep popping up from?" I thought and turned my attention to Ouroboros.
"Do not even think about attacking me now. You are weak and are in no shape to fight. I do not want to kill you. However, I must kill the girl. She is too dangerous to me and you. She is dangerous to us all. Of course, it is rather the thing that lives within her like a parasite that is the real danger."
"Do you really think that I am the kind of character that will let you kill some weak little woman while I run away to save my own hide? I might still not be able to use my powers but I'll be damned if I don't do something!" I shouted and placed myself between Ouroboros and Melony. I raised my gun towards Ouroboros, but just before I pulled the trigger I was hit by something, probably Ouroboros powers and everything went black as I felt myself flying into some hard object.
Just a few minutes before the battle begun
Jack stormed to the infobank where he found Edmund on his way out "There are troubles at the docks! It seems our friends have found Archon and the machien Mob is acting like its World War 3! Mr. X, Ida, Richard and some other of the security staff are mounting up to go there to back them up. Thought you wanted to know. They are in the garage I showed you yesterday if you want to join them in the van."

((Vlad came in a black VTOL dropship which has stealth capabilities.))
- Pull up! We won't take them this way!- Shouted Vlad. Chaos raged below the dropship and it was impossible for Vlad to land.
- Another time comrade- Said Seth.
- No. I can jump. Clean the area!- The dropship's nose guns barked rapidly and Vlad jumped out of it. The landing was a bit rough, but Vlad was able to quickly stand up and wage fire upon the droids. Several droid leaders had their heads blown away by Seth. Vlad made his way to the rest of the heroes.

After Ouroboros have left with Melony
A yellow-eyed man walked out of a nearby shadow. He walked slowly towards the place where Melony had just been warped away by Ouroboros. His eyes went from side to side and some could say he was like the raven that came to feast on the corpses of the fallen, the way he appeared after the battle had finished. He stopped at the spot where Ouroboros had just stood and for a minute or two, he just stood there, staring in the ground.
'I have failed. Again.'
Xion's head turned towards the superhero who had yet to notice him and a smile of melachony appeared on his face "You might have lost the battle, but do not for a second think you have lost the war." he said in a encouraging tone, oddly enough. Once again Xion looked down on the spot where Ouroboros had stood.
"Ouroboros took Melony to find out how to kill Miasma and G9, but unfortunately the traces are not big enough for me to determine where he teleported them to." Xion sighed then he turned his head towards the spot minion had come out of and followed his trail with his eyes "But I believe that minions master might have an idea or two. Minion was that big guy who took Kane. Your best bet would be to find him." Xion nodded to himself. The sound of a vehicle in the distance "Seems like someone is coming. Gotta finish up here then."
Xion turned around towards the warehouse Archon had been sent flying into and ran into it. Soon after, he came out with an old man hanging on his shoulders.
"He might be a danger to me when he wakes up, but it is better to risk bringing him back than to let him be taken by someone else." Xion thought as he started to run away.
((Feel free to jump in any time during Xion's little act of drama, Warlord or Vlad. You can also interrupt the monolouge at any given time if you feel like it.))
