Kane had made a small cover using the remains of Carries hut, and covered her in wet clothing to keep her cool. Now he was simply waiting for her to hopefully wake up, as he couldn't do anything more for her here. Unless he could get her to a proper hospital or get some proper tools she would die, and so would probably he. "Come on now." he growled.

Carrie woke up, feeling drowsy and very tired. She moaned an "Ugh" and tried to sit up, resulting in pains from her stomach, making her fall back down.
"The Admiral has made his move...it is time I made mine..." a voice said from within the darkest caverns of Zero's ruined mansion. A bright light appeared in the form of molten metal in a container. In front of the bright liquid stood a tall strong man with flames twisting around him. The molten metal was poured all over the man. The metal twisted and conformed around the man to form a writhing chaotic armor of searing flames and burning metal. Glowing pockets of light appeared on the man's head, creating bright eyes that seemed to be orbs of fire convulsing and churning within. The man took a step...and then another step, somehow keeping the living metal on him as larger, spiked, and more armor like plates of hardened metal formed on him, creating a fiery armored juggernaut.
The man jumped up into the air with his fist in the air, propelling himself upwards with hot air and the strength of his artificial molten metal muscles. He broke through the cave's ceilings, eventually coming out into daylight. He landed on a meadow, soon turned to ash as he strode through it, creating large swathes of flame and destruction in his wake. In the distance lay New Constantinople with smoke pouring out of it from Rex Mallard's devastating attacks. It was there that the man walked forwards to, unhindered by rock, tree, or water.
"I am Inferno and I will save the city from you, Rex Mallard...even if I have to destroy it..."

Around the sites the Machine Cult appropriated Centauroid-droids stalked around to set up a perimeter. Metal fences wer put up, hung with tarp to shield the sites from prying eyes.
At the sites, the sounds of construction were unmistakable. Occasionally several types of Construction vehicles hovered above the perimeter. However, no vehicle ever left the sites and people began to wonder where they came from and where they left the debriss.
In the ruins of Zero's Mansion a small device decloaked and became visible. It quickly scurried away, it's recording already sent. It was one of the many devices Rex used to keep himself informed.
In Austria, Edmund sat uncomfortably in the car. His wings and tail were crumpled together to enable him to sit on the leather backseat. Unfortunately, he was the only one experiencing the discomfort. The three others were obviously quite happy with the accomodations. The Commisar was directing Richard where to drive, while X sat on the backseat with Edmund. X was engrossed with the copper plate they had found. He assured Edmund that he could decipher the glyphs given enough time, as it was a pseudo-scientific cypher used by various goverment agencies.

Kane hurried over to Carrie. "Stay down, if you sit up the wound might reopen." he said, pressing her down. "It stopped bleeding just an hour ago and we really don't have more than a day to get you to a proper hospital. I know you are weak, but you need to tell me the fastest way out of this place. Now."

Lancer quietly crept to the defenses. There were easily a dozen centarioud droids around, which would be too many for him to take. He knew Econ would help him, but still, the odds were hardly in his favor.

Carrie frowned and then said, "That one guy in the big coat and the mask put me here! I didn't 'move in' or anything! I was walking around the streets when I found him interrogating someone with a pretty sword. So I tried to kill him, because I wanted the sword. He made me stop somehow, flicked me off and the next thing I knew, I was here! He was the guy with your b*tch of a girlfriend."

Melony yawned as they continued to stare at Tiberius. "So... Anything even remotely entertaining happen around here lately?" She asked Lisa.

Lisa gave a "Hmph" and then said, "Other than Siggy getting attacked by Tiberius for stepping on his tail, no. This place is most boring place ever!"
Tiberius stole another sausage and then trotted away. Lisa quickly got out of her chair and proceeded to follow Tiberius.

Lisa followed Tiberius down into a narrow hallway, that seemed to get smaller and smaller until only Tiberius could fit through easily. Lisa and Melony would have to get on their hands and knees to crawl through.
