I don't know the exact probabilities, but 8 full cycles (reroll+hire+dismiss, i.e. you see 8 * 4 = 32 fresh heroes) is about the maximum I've had to go through. On the other hand, when you get the chance, ask Beastly about his luck...
If you are not in danger of clobbering a shrine, you could justify respawning over and over again until you have a fairly quick 60/0/60 in tavern. However, only do this if your precise location does not matter much.

I could use some advice. I see a gold/gold/gem/wood at 8,35 and a wood/ore/gem/gold at 5,33. Which one should I take?
Double gold seems great, but its 4 steps away from my town; wont it make me too vulnerable from the guy next to me? Flook, non-toh.

vesuvius - don't worry about flook, none of those players in our region will give you any trouble. Take the double gold, its a good foundation for your development in the future.

Maybe look around for the alliance with the most treasuries and learning stones, and try to join them until there is room? It would improve your growth by a bit, and give you bonuses if the guild leader happened to proc inspiration or battle cry.

Un-fraking-believable: now i lost 7 levels in troop barrage ability because the new rule is that it applies only to the first hero.
Remember, the hero i dismissed because they changed also the hero bonus heridity without documenting the change.
I feel like talking to comcast tech support with those guys.
Why the hell do i have a subscription? Why am I even playing this game?
Vesuvius - oh oh, don't get mad -- but if that is going to make you quit, make sure you tell me so. Of course, you could always restart...

It took me 3 full weeks in season 1 to get my 60/0/60 (Inferno). Then just to really screw with my head, the next set of heroes in the tavern after I finally got my 60/0/60 had another 60/0/60.

vesuvius problem is you're not in the main alliance yet, it does become an issue. When you've joined our alliance (still a significant waitlist) then you can settle anywhere on the purple borders. For now focus on town structure growth and keep to 3 towns.

I have xls/ods spreadsheet to compute exact maintenance cost for S1 and S2 for HOMMK.
It include all details about :
- gold mine
- heroes bonus
- sphinx
- armies ... blablabla
Is there a _private_ place in the forum where I can send those files ?
(about 60ko x 3 files).

You know, I think that you guys are too well organized for your own good. Winning a season on day 1 may rob the game of some of it's fun.
Have you considered challenging MITBBS or someone of that ilk?
vesuvius so it looks like some other alliances are reading this board haha. I have no problem challenging any alliance BUT Mitbbs.

I think will be fun competition with MITBBS but only if they agree to play by game rules. Its mean both alliance start with 20 accounts/members and with up rank get +1 up to 30. I had acc for fun in another world season 1 where i fight vs MITBBS alone. Its was so fun for both side but they simple used 50+ acc from 2 alliances and active/massive trade alliance members from both alliances all time to can send away his "bad towns" for set new in more important position. 20 vs 50 is competition where don't matter result 50 is losing by default for cheating. For this in this server they got won but earn zero respect from all other alliances and people.
If they want competition need to do it fair by game rules! Another important part is to stop use Asians language for his towns/names in USA server because other ppl cant make difference in names and its considering like cheat in other on-line games. Example: names like Evolution and Ev0lution is easy to mess if you need to attack one from both but if you put number in begin: 1Evolution and 2Ev0lution its different.
In short MITBBS are good but they have zero trust in his ability and for this use all ways for cheat to can won. No respect here from me.
