Ugh had a horrible start (still do). Started as Inferno, got a 60/0/60 right off the bat but... almost all my squares in my main town as well as in my second one were/are protected by massive stacks of cavalry (usually dragons).
Inferno has Infantry at lvl 2 and 7... so I had to use most of my cavalry/archers to get my mines/clear my first town. Now I'm stuck in the second town with 70% of the squares still occupied and no army to speak of. At least I got the mines cleared - so hopefully in a few days I'll be able to gather a reasonable lvl 2 Infantry force to clear the remaining squares.

Inferno is a hard startup, but does pretty good in the late game in my opinion. On the other hand Academy is the easy startup.

It helps to use un-upgraded imps if you start missing infantry at early game. It's easy to forget about that imps are infantry after upgrading them.
T1 inferno is flexible at least as it covers 2 roles.

Yeah, I sometimes use sacrificial Imp stacks to avoid taking Horned Demon losses early on when playing Inferno.

SO, two months in, I have some questions about legacy bonuses (I'm finally getting my legacy on May 1st if we manage to hold on).
Personal wealth vs popular contribution - which do you think is better (did you try one and wish you had the other).
Talented hero vs Characteristic illumination - preferences.
Barrage fire vs ????? - I havent considered anything other than magic resistance here. Is barrage fire the best?
I'm trying to decide if I want to play an inferno hero with barrage fire and characteristic illumination using pit lords and nightmares, it seems strong. My other option would be a haven hero with similar skills (maybe a protector with CI 7 for the attack bonus and magic immunity).
Thoughts? Anything I missed that you really like?

Personal wealth (level up quickly) and characteristics illumination (no need for the extra skill points) are best with starting 60/0/60, population contribution and talented hero (immediate enlister) are better with a 0/60/60.

I am playing this game first time on russian closed beta. x24 speed was really fun and I am got tear in all 3 ways (portal, digging, alchemy)
I want to ask about euro item mall content.
Does original version have something except premium subscribe? like trader pack on picture?

I have been unable to log into the game whole day today. Neither of my browsers can get past worlds screen. If anyone seees elitBG online tell him he can go wild with my kingdom, since he is the one that i gave backup control to.

And yet again, I've been unable to log in for more than 3 days. Pretty much cannot play atm. Unless elit is there to co run my kingdom, i guess i could wish you all happy pillaging :S.
I really don't know whats going on, tried on 3 different computers with 3 different browsers.

Yup, I'm still incapable of logging in. I suggest either giving away my account/password if anyone is interested, or just waiting on inactive to hit me and then pillage my towns. though it might be considered that we did it on purpose from devs perspective.
I was hoping to stay in top 10 wealth for legacy points but at this point game is literary unplayable to me. In fullest extent of that word.
