Things which I hate at Heroes 6
1.The same boring world:Ashan
I hate how Ubisoft ignore the history from other games.
What the hell?The universe strated with an egg and also in it were twins .The question:Who's the mother dragon?The classical(and boring) fact when Asha and Urgash battle and create lesser dragons...
The haven's kingdom is named Holy Griffin Empire,but not from the myhtological animal,but from a king named Griffin.
Elves and dark elves,still not in H6.But dark elves are just a weak copy of light elves.Why they couldn't name they just elves(even if elves idea,dark or light, sucks)
I want megalomanic and arrogant necromancers which are a threat for all races like in h3,not some small sect of wizards in a wasteland named Herresh(it sounds demonic,isn't it?)
2.Ilogical creatures aka Glories
I understand angels and griffin in Haven's line-up.But naked blazing women which "dance" on battlefield are to  .What ubisoft employer thought:"Hey,boss don't let me to watch porn in the working time,let's make something which will be good for both" and that was how glories born.
Seriously,light elementals which look like this,in haven's medieval line-up made don't fit.Angels are OK,but with glories theme of holy light was went to far.
3.Zombie Mage,no,it's just lich
Look at all liches which appeared in HoMM:
  
Am I blind or there isn't any zombie.Now in H6,they kick all skeletal liches and put some mindless zombies to do their work.
Liches must be only skeletons(wikipedia agrees,it is laying?):
Liches are completely skeletal. Liches are often depicted as holding power over hordes of lesser undead creatures, using them as their soldiers and servants, and thus are a threat both individually and as leaders of belligerent forces.
C'mon liches must be skeletal.Skeletons with magic staffs are cool,zombies aren't.I'm sure 99,9% from fans are dissapointed by this horrible change of liches(pyre awaits these which like zombie mages).A mummy instead of this abomination could change the situation and the necropolis line-up would be  .But no,a stupid designer from ubisoft made this idiocy!Now lich look like an old sick man whic have theet problems.
4.The three muskeeters:Maniac,Ghoul and Tormentor
Lol!The same skeleton(not creature) for 3 different creatures.At tormentor it was larged,but in rest the same.Crap.
5.The town of all abominations(not necropolis or inferno),Haven
5 reasons why haven is "the most colourful town":
#1:Glories,comments above
#2:The similarity between the Celestial and a brass horn
#3:Glowing horses(Fairies and Unicorns:Heroes)
#4:How crazy can be priestess/vesstals to enter on battlefield without armor(weapon,at least a dagger)
#5:sentinels looks to good to be peasants in cheap armor(their armor cost at least 5000$ )
6.Cerberus with only 2 heads
Hades would kill Ubisoft if he existed.
In greek mythology cerberus have 3 heads,sometimes 100 but never just 2!

7.Demonic Cyclops
Cyclops are giant humans(not demons) with only one eye.Ubisoft made them big demons with one eye.Crap.
8.Only 4 resources

They drop 4 resources.And made a ilogical stone named crystalized dragon blood.Crap.
First what the hell they had with other resource.Mercury,crystals and gems weren't good?And blood is good?What's next?We can make transplants of blood.Maybe priestess give it to soldiers who lost blood?
And the TRUE(yeah,it exist) dragon blood(wiki)

9.Naga Faction
A faction who is based only on nagas.Copy-paste warcraft.Even it isn't a "naga faction",just a couple of (horrible) sea creatures).Yeah,you know...crap.
First we have shark warriors,which play hockey.Kappa,for me they aren't anything than frogs.Spring spirit haven't anything to do with sea/ocean/water.Snow maiden/Ice maiden...upragrades?Both ice and snow are frozen water...and I frogot the big ugly water lizard,dragon.
10.Centaur+Orcs=lethal combination
When I see they I'm going to die.
Centaur is a half man,half horse creature.Orc it's Tolkien's race of ugly humanoid creatures.Centaur is better in sylvan or dungeon,no way stronghold.In H6 are half zebra,half demon.
And centaur with horns?No way.Crap.
11.Necropolis horrible Boss
Well fate weaver are OK.In fact,I like they.But when I said necropolis is almost perfect,except the zombie lich,they came with this crap:
What?This is the necro boss?Fate weaver look beautiful,but this is ugly as hell,uglier than maniac.

Wow lizardwarrior, sorry for being off topic, but kudos for how well your english skills have developed! If I may, I'd like to suggest that you add a space after punctuation, but otherwise it was a real joy to read.
I agree with many of your points, but who knows, maybe it'll actually turn out to be rather good. Beside, in this day and age where modding seem so much more common, I don't think it's long before the common user can change for himself whatever he dislike about the game.

With what I agree and with what I don't:
1. Well, I like Ashan and I don't care if it isn't connected to the other games. I only don't like that it's almost the same Ashan.
2. But I like the Glories... (I''m the only one, I think)
3. Skeletal liches are better but I can live with the new ones, too.
4. Yes, they are the same creature and they all suck.
5. Haven is nice.
6. I absolutely agree.
7. I absolutely agree.

So far I hate every single decision they make with H6, IMO it is longer a Heroes game. I should make my own H6.

Wow, Lizardwarrior, work on your grammar, it was hard to read all the way through, but...
1. That's a good complaint, but Ashan itself is a pretty neat world. But it's their game, so they can make their own fantasy world, which is fine by me.
2. What's wrong with a glowing almost naked light elemental? It's pretty creative imo.
3. Idc, as long as they look like Liches to me I'm good.
4. I don't get why people think that the maniac looks similar to the tormenter and ghoul, and aside from looks, they are all extremely different, but idc if they look similar, they look fierce and ready to tear you apart.
5. What's wrong with having elemental horses? It probably is stronger than a regular horse and looks incredible at the same time. And sentinels are not peasants in armor. I mean they could be, but I'd rather have all units be sentinels than any stinking peasants.
6. I AGREE! Cerberus should have 3 HEADS! 3 HEADS!
7. It fits in, deal with it.
I've got my own complaints with Heroes 6
1. Lowered resource types.
2. 5 factions.
3. Similar units for the shinning spirit and the ice maiden which both suck.
All in all, I think it's more nit-picking.

I completely agree with #2, #3 and #4.
Sure, they won't change a thing about those things, but I personally am glad to see people giving their feedback and sharing opinions, even if it's far too late (and they're making their own game anyway).
Interesting though, is there anyone who thinks Heroes VI's Lich is the best looking Lich of the whole series?

I have no problem with glowing horses. Actually, I love them. In heroes 5 I look at a Champion and for me it is just an hero without sword. Even the horses are basically the same.
At least in H6 I won't think the same.

Biggest disappointment for me - no Elves.
Don't like factions selection : one good, and 3 evil looking.
Don't like Haven Glories.
Maniac etc is bad idea.

1. I really don't care about the story or campaign, so I wuld just skip this one.
2. Absolutely agree (lol I can't help but think of this, when I see this creature.
3. Yea, I spose your right.. but it doesn't really bother me. Honestly I think Necropolis is the best made faction this time around, when it comes to looks.
4. haha, this one I agree with you the most. I hate those creatures. Well mostly tormentor and that other stupid red thing. Names are dumb and the creatures look dumber.
5. Hmm... Idk haven is alright. I would get rid of the glories, change the sisters (at least the name), the unupgraded sunstrider should be riding a regular horse.
6. lol good point. Developers missed that one,
7. absolutely agree.
In all honesty, judging from the vast opinions I have seen on these forums, I would say they did an alright job. If it were me I would at least get rid of the tormentor, maniac, juggernaut, mauler, jaguar warrior and whatacallits. To me they are just a lazy approach to taking something orcish, or redish and calling it a different creature. The only redeeming quality inferno has is the pit fiend and succubus, and Stronghold has harpies. I mean c'mon, who didn't love the efreeti!?
I am just thankful that they didn't mess up Necropolis. Infact, they added an awseome new spin to it. I culd just imagine the lineup: goul, gash, abobination, deadguy, zombie, guck.

Dropping the number of resources reduces what you can do with them, no more Artificier, no more Arcane Library, no more Elemental Stockpile, and while that may not seem like much, a lot more could have been done with the resources we had.

Things that i Hate about Heroes6
A - Stronghold
B - Stronghold
and finally... Stronghold!!!!
no seriously.. Barabrian town with
3 orcs, from who 2 are melee and 1 caster
1 "small orc" which is Goblin (one of the most useless and stupid creatures in HoMM universe)
1 Cyclops which is "Demon" ... O_o..
1 Centaur-female.. which is half zebra??? what zebra has to do with barbarians, and centaur with orcs? i personally don't know
and 1 harpy which i am ok with..
also the description of their creation.. Mages created majority of of the game beastiary but have only rakshasa in their line-up.. the rest are constructs..
i have questions to other factions as well..

It's too "blazing"!!! WHAT is that creature?? it looks like we have it only in sake of having something new.. awful!
with the rest i can cope.. even though "Sister"(what a horrible name, isn't it) could look much better then a woman with a robe

No freggin way i can associate HoMM universe with THAT!!! excuse me , this is not Diablo game! and whattahell it's gonna give birth to imps on the battlefield? are you mad? did the Dev's smoke some weed when they came up with this idea?? ultimate stupidity!!!

i did not really like this faction! units like Kappa (frog-turtle) / shark-warrior (reminds of "tmnt" mutant ninja turtle) / water woman / snow woman / another woman.. bla bla..
while i have to admit "Chinese Unicorn" looks wonderful! even "samurai naga" is ok!
and back to Stronghold!
maybe it's the fact that i never really liked Barbarian town in HoMM, or the fact that they do not really use magic, or that i would definitely prefer Sylvan/Dungeon/Academy instead Orcish barbarians, i don't know.. but Stronghold is the biggest disappointment for me so far in Heroes6..!
to conclude all of the above, i am still happy of what i see regarding Heroes6! and i like majority of the news and info i have heard about the game! can't wait to start playing and then i can say my real opinion of what i like and what i don't... ciao!

Opinions, opinions, everybody has one. But let me get in on this crazy train too.
1. You don't like Ashan? Well, that's too bad! 
Now go back to play H3, cause Ashan is here to stay. Either face it or quit.

I don't know but have you seen any elemental ever wearing clothes? Cause as far as I remember, even in H3 they were obscenely naked too.

Oops? They're not necesserily only skeletal!
4. And to think that Ubisoft made this screenshot only so we can see that they are not similar... I don't see one little bit of similarity in these three creatures other than they're all humanoid. Besides, what's it to you? You just like watching at the pretty pictures? For all you know, these units may be animated and playing out totally different from each other.
5. Remind me again, who were complaining that Haven was a stagnating, boring faction all the time? Oops, it was the community! So Ubi tries to please by introducing some variety to this faction and you still hate them for it? Talk about being ungrateful.
6. 100!? Where did you get that from? But it looks like you forgot to consult wikipedia this time. So let me do this for you, I quote:
"Most sources describe or depict three heads; others show it with two or even just one; a smaller number of sources show a variable number, sometimes as many as 50."
Wait, wait, wait, what was that? Did it just say "two or even just one" heads? Well, what do you know? You learn a new thing or two every day, huh? Well, you not me, since I already knew.

Yeah, the "Cerberus" is clearly an Orthrus, and Haven is just way too stylized to be even remotely recognizeable, I loved the realistic armor design in previous titles, and while these guys look good, there is just too much detail put into everything, it feels too overdone for my suspension of disbelief.
No idea why humans refuse to ride regular horses... they all died from plot convenience cancer?
I also dislike how they made the Shedu, a good creature from assyrian and persian mythology, an evil zombie beast. Cultural intolerance much?

I don't have problems with these things, because for example lich and cyclops have reasons why are they like that. Just check the lore behind them, it is logical explanation. In Ashan they are different from standard lich, but that doesn't mean that they are bad. But if you don't like the explanation behind them than that is another story...
I love everything in H6 because after H5, even though i loved it, H6 seems that it is on entirely different level, way above H5, as a matter a fact, even above H3. Well at least for me. Don't get me wrong I love H3 as well, but H6 introduced a lot of innovations that can not be ignored like that.
I know that everyone can't love everything and especially the same things, but I just don't see why are there so much negative thoughts and opinion about H6.

1. Obviously it is Ashan, would you rather heroes ignores or simply destroys the last world for each new installment? We need a consistent setting that can go to lots of new directions and Ashan can do that, especially if we see it through different eras/places/cultures. While it is generic it can still produce outstanding stories, all it requires is decent storytelling and compelling characters.
As for the egg I can only answer.. Did the chicken dragon make the egg or the egg the dragon?

About your vision of necromancers. First you accuse Ashan of being a generic world and then request generic necromancers
2. Glories are neither illogical nor.. suggestive. If you really think of porn when looking at them you are the one with the dirty mind, not the programmers. Do you also get turned on by statues or the H3 naga boobies? Didn't think so. Also yes haven is medieval but not necessarily a patriarchic society where only men are great and strong. Which is why priestesses also grace their ranks.
3.Liches are not necessarily skeletal, that is usually the last stage of their devolution. And calling them mindless zombies, heh Also citing wikipedia is fail in its own.
4. If you see Maniac,Ghoul and Tormentor as the same you should probably get your eyes checked.
7. Yeah and Our Vampires Are Different.
I can understand your dislike but you are seeing it all under your highly judgemental point of view and judge them as THIS and not THAT. I know a lot of people who could judge you in much the same manner. But expressing your opinion is one thind, ranting(with absence of cold dead facts to support your position) another..
