Multiplayer (LAN/Hamachi) Error code 0.2.0 Help
Hi there!
I know, there must be a number of questions about this, but...
There is no mods and we have the european patch/version 3.1
and Hamachi version is 1.0.1.5 - but still it shows it the error!
This started to happen after one us three (IRL friends),
moved the game folder (no-uninstall before that i guess) to other location, said it was hard to find...
Yes, i know... Not to do like that ever, didn't know one did.
So, the friend uninstalled the game and bought another via steam (the previous was installed from my CD, since it doesn't require it to play) and installed it, heard it is same version, so... Why does the errorcode still show up (even re-installing the steam one)!
I seriously - Do not know how to advice them or how to fix this!
We haven't tried to install it back from the CD though...
So, anyone help? Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

I've had the exact same error with Jabanoss. I think I have the european version as well.

the error comes because the players aren't using the same version of the map you try to play.
for example, if duel map has been updated and only one player got the update, you can't play unless the other one updates aswell.

It's been confirmed that same version of the map we tried recently, still comes with this error ('Greed' map that came with the game).
PS: Nice to see a person from same country.

Do other maps work normally? If they do then I'm out of ideas, the golden three sources are patch, mods, custom maps. Sometimes it can help if you remove your saves.

So it's only one person out of three who can't join if you make a three player game?
Does uninstalling all H5 from the machine, restarting, installing H5 into a completely different location, like: "D:/H5", restarting, patching and trying to play work?
If it does, there was an issue with files left behind. If it doesn't you've most likely got register traces that somehow mess with the new installation. That can be resolved but it's most likely out of your area.

Oh, just a stupid question but have you gotten rid of the old shortcuts and installation folders? Also the one from My Documents/My Games?

I still don't know how to solve it and there is no one available with who to try.
version 3.1, no mods, I had one custom map without scripts, just moved it from the Maps folder.
I didn't reinstall the game, nor moved any folder. oh, and I am on windows 7, which is most likely the biggest evil of all

I have no idea if I have the European patch/version or not. :/
