I have no problems using them both. Falconiens textures are in UserMODs folder and EE ist in its default bin, data and maps folder.

Unfortunately the graphics overhaul only seems to work when I launch the game through the standard shortcut, whereas the enhanced AI mod only works when I launch it through its own shortcut.

As such I can't seem to get them to work together.

How are you launching the game, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm launching through the EE desktop shortcut which is using H5_AIadv_31j.exe in the bin folder.

It seems the skillwheel saves what you had picked now so I don't have to re-choose my skills each time I get back to playing my game.

Original gameplay with advanced AI: possible?

I very much appreciate this mod, because original AI is pretty stupid and SLOW.
I played with friends, but the computer (original AI veteran difficulty) was making its move much longer than all 3 of us. It is just like HE was playing with us, not vice versa. So for multiplayer with AI this patch is almost necessary.

But... When I tried it... It is really making moves much faster, I love it. But on the lumber mill my army was utterly destroyed by gremlins. Ok, they are shooting mobs, casualties is pretty inevitable... BUT! My army (not small at all) was annihilated by that dude on elephant! He is casting destructive spells on archers, he is ressurecting freaking gremlins... Almost infinitely. It is... Bad, really bad. On the first week even lumber mill cannot be conquered. The setting was with easiest neutral champions. Have not checked the artifact thing, but whatsoever. Personally I would like to NEVER see that dude again. And his freaking elephant.

So is there some way to disable this neutral champion thing at all? I think the option of disabling it is absolutely, critically necessary.

Personally I would like to leave all the gameplay as it was (original) with changing ONLY AI.
Maybe some previous version will work for that (before addind neutral champions and other possible gameplay changes)? If so, where can I get it?

Thank you anyway, this AI is in any case much better than original. And quick-thinking, which allows you to play with him (not him playing with you).

If you disable artifact guards and put neutral champions on easy there should be no neutral heroes at all.

If you enable artifact guards with neutral champions at easy, there should be heroes guarding artifacts but this is broken with 3.1j. They only appear in treasure buildings.

If you put neutrasl champions at a level higher than easy, you will get heroes randomly at neutral stacks on the map. Perhaps this is what you did ?

Hm... Tried it again and no elephant dude appeared. Seems like I did really somehow set it not on easy before... Very strange though.

Anyhow there is an option to turn them off, so all is great. Will try multyplayer.

Hi, i already search in ee forum and faq but couldnt find an answer so i think i will ask in ere.

1. Is this mod also fix bug that exist in vanilla game? like rune dragonform bug?
2. is this mod compatible with homm v original and hof? if yes are its campaign playable too with this mod?

i'm sorry if this question asked before, thanks for any help

1: What bug is that? If it's fixed in TotE it is probably fixed in the Advanced AI mod unless it is listed here.

2: The advanced AI is a modification of the Tribes of the East exe, so technically your question is the same as asking whether ToTE is compatible with vanilla/HoF.
There is a mod that allows you to play the vanilla/HoF campaigns in ToTE. Maybe that works but I haven't tried it.

Q hasn't got around to fixing bugs that are found in original TotE 3.1 altho I have started a list.
I read that Advanced AI mod works well with TotE campaigns, but haven't read about anyone's experiences with H5 original or HoF campaigns (played using TotE of course, like what Nitramar said).

For quite a spell, he's ventured out of the lab very little. At last update, efforts have been enormous on big changes and he's pleased with the progress. There are other large tasks that are part of his overall vision for his A.I. and I've got the impression they require a similar effort.

Is this patch no longer in development? It would seem heroes VI is a bit of a flop and I may start redeveloping my map.  While this patch speeds up the AI, it becomes very unaggressive on large maps where water separates you and your enemies (as with my "Axis of Evil" map).  They basically just hang out in their territories building large armies even if the computer's "forsight" is increased to maximum.  Was this ever fixed? If not will it be?

Rama (who works together with Q) said a few weeks ago "soon" and assuming that the last part of deveopment has already started a while ago, I would assume that I can't take too long anymore now - though you always have to consider that problems might arise even on the last meters and Q hasn't a huge team. So we just have to be patient, as hard as it is

There has recently been quite a lengthy discussion over at the EE forum regarding this. In short, it appears development on the mod continues, however the lead (and sole) developer has been incognito for some time now.
