Last night I played "Lord of the Rings" (great map BTW) map in hard level downloaded for the Dungeon Keeper's website. I had 7 heroes but three are invaders with skill averaging 8,8,8,8. My primary set of army was:
1. 2 Angels - Taken from prison hero
2. 3 Archangels - taken from a prison hero
3. 60 Grand Elves - Taken from a prison hero
4. 90 Elves - Taken from a prison hero
5. 14 Genies - Startup Troop
6. 90 Master Gremlins - Startup Troop
7. 8 Nagas - Startup Troop
My hero has 24 Attack, 38 Defense (I focus mainly on defense), 32 Power, 28 Knowledge and damn loaded with artifacts. He was the only one really kicking ass even lots of black dragons was no match for my troop can only kill like 30 Master gremlins then resurected by the AA. The last enemy had Packs of Arch Devil and Ghost Dragon and hordes of troops with stats of averaging 14 was really a big challenge and good thing I was casting lightning bolt with 900+ HP helped a lot. I won the game with only 2 AA, 2 Angels, 4 nagas and 3 genies. Last night's game was excellent.
Just sharing my lucky moments.

WOW another lucky moment for a heroes player
i have had special moments too:
i was fighting vs. 2 and 3 green dragons i had 1 devil 4 efrets some pitfiends, fammiliars and horned demons but that dosent care! and i had 40 magogs! i foght and won with only 1 effret lost! thats preatty good too right!

ive had some other...... fun matches:
I was playing a allied map! (but that dosent care!) A red heroe atacked.... and i won with one almost dead cyclops and 3 orc cheifians!!! 2 turns later a blue heroe came attacked i had bought some more! and i stood left with 10 orc cheifians!
I made 5000 per day and had castel! (three towers!!)
Luck? or Just me being good? lol

Unless you've played WOG and the opponent had the Armorer specialty, I can't see how it took place.
How about spells? Didn't you have any spell cast on the battlefield at all??

What u seem to forget is that army size isnt everything, skills&spells helps
u could kill many many lvl 7 creatures with 2 peasents if lucky, just hope u fight one stack and have a nasty implo

nope im not, but would i test it in a real game? no, becuase the lvl 7ths needs to be in one stack. I just wanted to make an example than # of creatures isnt everything in a battle.

when you say you won against a hero with 92 nagas etc... with no hero.
One titan does 40/60 damages, gnolls marauders with a very good fortress can have maybe 10 defense, but not more if you gave no hero.
Three titans makes minimum 120 damages, multiplied by the attack bonuses (a titan has 24 attack), and divide by the range and walls penalties. So 30 damages multiplied by the attack bonuses which are positive for the titans. So 30 damages = 5 gnolls marauders. If you're not lying, then it's a bug!
My story is on a little map of AB, out of time, or a name like that, a S, with 8 castles but just you can access to your castle because of emm;;; not a border guard but something like that, don't remeber the name.
I couldn't go far from my castle, because enemies were turning around, and iiI was obliged to go out because of resources.
I built a mage guild, I learned view earth. A useless hero had the task to do view earth every day.
I saw a subteranean, with lot of resources. So I went out, with my big, and my little hero, in order that enemies attack my little hero and not my big.
I went in the subteranean, and there i saw... The angels wings!!!
but guarded by 20/50 pegasus.
I had 14 cerberus, 2 demons, and maybe 10 gogs in 5 groups.
I attacked, and I don't exactly rember how, but I won, with 5 cerberus left.
Then the map became very easy, I could travel and travel. I won.

yeah yeah ok i get i Steven..... i i totally agree like i play hotseat with my bro! and he had BIG army but no spell book i had smaller army and even 5 lvl spells like implosen or somthing with deals 850 damidge to a stack of creatures i knoed out 10 of his champions and at last i won!!!

and i have managed to loose vs one Chaos Hydry when i had 33 wolf raidere 12 goblins and 3 rocs. no spells and bit equal stats too

i know but i just makes me so........ FURIUS  when there is a heroe walking around flagging my mines and he have ONE chaos Hydra
BTW: i was playing with stronghold army my orge was attacking a ceberi and suddently i move again after the ceberi retaliates?!?!?!!?!? hm weird! no good moral bird at all!

Probably a bug... It happened to me too... When my ArchMage were fighting hit by a lizard warrior, it retaliated long ranged! Kinda weird though!
