You and Vindi, and I hope we get mroe people in again with the next topic - iirc, subskills always came with a kind of down-activity. Seems they are not so interesting to choose.

@vindi: again, if I do not give you the option to choose 2, I normally do not incline this option. However I think I again am generous, because I like both abilities, the anmes you gave them and then we have enough subskills, I think. So first, Battle subs, full summary:

Battle
Increases the damage a hero does in battle and allows him to get might-based combat abilities. THese are learned when choosing a subskill of "Battle". Battle-abilities need no mana or similar, but have a specific reload time each.
Subskills:
-Marksmanship (Increases the effect of Range-Based Battle abilities and the chance to gain such when increasing the level of "Battle". Choosing this sub, you will definitely get a Range-based Battle Ability)
-Aggression (Increases the effect of Offense-Based Battle Abilites and the chance to gain such when increasing the level of "Battle". Choosing this sub, you will definitely get an offense-based Battle Ability)
-Trickery (Increases the effect of Stealth-Based Battle Abilites and the chance to gain such when increasing the level of "Battle". Choosing this sub, you will definitely get a Stealth-based Battle Ability)
-Protection (Increases the effect of Defense-Based Battle Abilites and the chance to gain such when increasing the level of "Battle". Choosing this sub, you will definitely get a Defense-based Battle Ability)
with one basic sub as prereq
-Quickshot [Marksmanship] (Reduces the reload time for range-based battle abilities. You will definitely get a ranged-based battle ability when choosing this.)
-Rush to Aid [Protection] (Reduces the reload time for defence-based battle abilities. You will definitely get a defense-based battle ability when choosing this.)
-Shieldbreaker [Aggression] (Any offense-based battle ability or melee-attacked performed by the hero will ignore X% of the enemy defense. You will definitely get a offence-based battle ability when choosing this.)
-Surprise Attack [Stealth] (The first attack or damage-dealing Stealth-based battle ability performed by the hero deals double damage. You will definitely get a stealth-based battle ability when choosing this.)

-Secure Target (When the hero has used a defense-based battle ability on a friendly unit, from then on he will ranged-attack (If he has a ranged attack!) any enemy attacking that unit. You have higher chances to get a defense- or range-based battle ability when choosing this perk, but you can also get an offense- or stealth-based one).

-Destroyer [Shieldbreaker + Killer Instinct] (Any non-ranged single-targeted battle-ability or attack by this hero deals even more additional damage.)
-Dirty Fighting [Surprise Attack](Every Melee Attack or stealth-based ability performed by the hero that targets an enemy unit, will decrease a random stat of the enemy unit for X (=battle level) turns. You can get a stealth-based or, less probable, an offense-based battle ability when choosing this skill).
-Double Shot [Quickshot + Grandmaster Battle] (When performing an ordinary ranged attack, the hero shoots twice, and thus deals twice damage.)

-Bloodlust [Battle Triumph + Aggression] (Whenever an enemy stack is finished, all Battle abilities' reload coutner is reduced by 1. You have higher chances to get an offense-based battle ability when choosing this perk, but you can also get a range-based one.)

-Heroic Charge [Sprint/Glorious Charge + Aggression] (Adds a charge effect to the hero melee attack, so the damage is increased the further enemies are away from the hero's side of the battlefield. You will definitely get an offense-based battle ability when choosing this sub.)
-Infamous [Fame + Grandmaster  Battle + 2 Battle Subs] (When the hero attacks enemy humanoid units (which are not immune to mind control or fear), there is a small chance that these units loose their next turn.)
-Poison Arrows [Marksmanship + Toxic Swarm + Trickery] (Adds a poison effect to all ranged attacks and battle-abilities used by the hero. You have higher chances to get a stealth- or range-based battle ability when choosing this perk, but you can also get an offense- or defense-based one.)
-Slayer of the Masses [Reveal Vice + Legend Battle] (The hero deals +X% damage against Core Units.)
-Spellbane [Mage Bane] (The hero deals more damage to an enemy unit depending on how many spells are currently effective on that unit (note: spellbinding included!).)
-Water Dance [Grandmaster Battle + Buccaneer + Variation/Turbulence] (The hero gains +50% initiative and deals +25% damage on naval battles. The hero can gain any battle ability when choosing this sub.)

I must say I think I like the battle main skill quite much.

So, I think we're done with subskills for now (though we have a faaaar way to go on them, still...). What do we do next, then? Well, there is a winner on that vote we had and it iiiiis...making another Camopaign!

Which is quite an interesting thing to do, I think!
So, how do we start? First, I think, we shoudl recapitulate the campaign system and remember which campaign we did last.

Campaign System (taken from the new summary which is in work)
The main campaign is the classical story-telling campaign known from all HoMM and many other strategy games. You have a few campaigns at the beginning, where you can branch out with different scenarios in each one. After you finish these, you unlock a new campaign depending on your actions. The moment of decisions which have a later relevance happens two or three times each campaign.

Campaign 1 (Info on page 293.)
The campaign we created before was a Necropolis Campaign, available from the beginning, in which you play as an invasion force from the nation "Skeltel Scrattle", there to attack, or, in best case, take the southernmost Stronghold Nations of the Grand Pian Desert. Effectively, during the course of the campaign, you attack and take control of Wyrmbern. You have not defeated all of the land, but the remaining nation is surrounded by your towns.
Choices are the following:
-in the first scenario you race a lonely human village and turn all inhabitants undead - all but one. A boy captures your interest and you can either let him flee, kill him or take him with you. The boy will return later on, probably as a campaign main hero.
-in the third (and last) scenario of the campaign you have to decide wether you ally with the stronghold nation of Chailhorn, or defeat the Chailhorn forces in the Wyrmbern area. This will influence later events.
-in the third (and last) scenario you get, at some point, the message that 2 of your apprentices are doing well and you can promote one of them to Necromancer. The choice will determine an enemy hero in a later campaign.

Now, we do a different campaign, though. I say, we do another campaign that has no requirements. So...

So, I will try to do basic things quickly and then start a BIG cascade as I am away for a week from tomorrow morning on...
