Fine. Now, neutrals are grey. So, we need 12 player colours which are disctinctive enough. I sense these as obligatory:

White
Black
Red
Blue
Green
Yellow
Purple
Turquois
Orange
Brown
Pink

That leaves us with one missing
I'd say easiest is to split one colour into 2 (Dark&Light), best one where as few confusions with other colours are possible.

Question: Which of these shall it be?

We will go on with making subskills for the Defense Skill.

So far we know this about defense and its' subskills.
Defense
Increases the effect of "defense" command for friendly troops when the
heor is present in battle.
Subskills:
-Evasion (Reduces damage taken from ranged attacks)
-Fortitude/Steadfastness (Increased defense to all attacked friendly units (that didn't move in the previous round.))
-Parry (Reduces damage taken from melee attacks)
-Resistance (Decreases damage taken from spells)
~With Cross-Skill Prerequesites
-Defensive Tactics [Advanced Logistics]

So. First, we need the skills needing one Basic Subskill.
Note: the option "None" can only be chosen for at most ONE of these!!!

1. Which subskill shall require "Evasion"?

Ranged Retaliation (Allows your ranged units to retaliate against ranged attacks) ...this could also of course come later with "Archery" from offense as required subskill...

A better idea by you
OR
None

2. Which subskill shall require "Fortitude/Steadfastness"?

Healthy/Health/better name (Slightly increases the max-HP of all of your units.) {Variant: The Main Skill Level determines, which units are affected (tier)}

So far:

Moving on to those subskills needing 2 basic skills. There should be 2, max 3 of them, I think, and balancewise maybe not overlaping. so.

So. I'm Impatient, I know, but this was on since yesterday, so...I choose Endure to be in.

dSo, and which of THESE shall be in?:

Dance of Defense/better name [Evasion+Parry] (Increases the basic defense (before anything else, like hero defense, other skills, artifacts, etc. come in) of units by X% (Xcan be chosen when choosing this skill, from 10-40)) OR (Increases the basic defense (before anything else, like hero defense, other skills, artifacts, etc. come in) of units by X)
OR
Blocking [Evasion+Parry] (When your units still have at least one retaliation left, they get X% less damage from attacks (not from spells, nor from retaliations!!!))
OR
Dance of Defense/better name [Evasion+Parry] (Gives your units an activated ability, "Dance of Defense", usuable once per battle letting them ignore X% of damage (X: 20-50) the next time they get physical damage)
OR
a better idea by you with Evasion+Parry as prerequesite.

needs good name [Evasion+Ashen Veil(Fire Magic)] (Your units cannot be targeted for range-attack by enemies on long range.) OR (Your units cannot be targeted for range-attack by enemies if behind an obstacle.)
OR
Power through Pain [Parry+Master of Blessing(Light Magic)] (Whenever this unit gets melee damage, it gets a bonus on their attack/defense/Damage/Initiative(YOur choice which fo these!))
OR
Stand your Ground/better name [Fortitude+Grounding(Earth Magic)] (Increased defense to all friendly units who are not flyers)
OR
Mana Ward/better name [Resistance+Mana Well] (The current Mana points of your creatures are added to their defense)
