You're being far too inquisitive for my taste, you're welcome to ask, but your approach was somewhat blunt. And I only stated my sexuality since in theory it ought to undermine my ability to enjoy Valentines day, which I'm planning on overcoming by using chocolate and friends.

That's actually the reason I asked, because the article says it shouldn't, since V-Day isn't sex day but lovers's day.
Now, if I may say so, if I had been doing time for "something", and I didn't want to discuss the circumstances and the whys and the hows and the specifics - why would I be so daft and mention on "Law and Order Day" that because of me doing time I wouldn't know whether I really should enjoy the festivities?
But never mind, as I said, won't happen again, sorry I took an interest, feel superficially acknowledged from now on.

Or at least I've had thoughts in that regard. What differentiates someone you love from someone you don't apart from circumstance? E.g. if you love your parents, it's likely because they're your parents. If someone else were you parents, it's likely you'd love them. But I'd like to not love someone because of things they do, or because of how one consciousness happens to be linked with another through different kinds of relations, such as the family bond.
Therefore, to me, it's logical to love everyone.
On the other hand, there's the resources dilemma. When you love someone, I imagine you invest yourself fully in making their life as wonderful, as THEY want it to be. How can you invest yourself fully in all life, when you don't have the resources to do so? Therefore I also think it makes perfect sense to priotize, e.g. your parents or wife/husband/children above a total stranger, despite you had no say in whose consciousness is in whose body.
But at least it leaves me with a reasoning why I'd always try to do the best I can for everyone when I can, though it's more likely I fail 99% of the times, I don't think success and love has much to do with each other.

Noob has a target but no intention/means/motivation of ever doing it, I had that, but last two years I worked my way out of this crevice quite spectacularly. (don't give me that you have motivation, I've seen motivated people, you can bring the world down on them and they'll overcome)
