Moar gaming, I'm afraid. So hard to stop the addiction when you have a big, extremely boring task to do :E

Aww! That's to bad! I'm truely sorry for you Doom.
Have you considered what motivates you for playing? Recently I thought about if I wanted to game myself.
I, at the time, had no interest in playing anything, except one game, calling it the original game. Then I managed to think about enough exciting stuff about other games, that I wanted to play each of those games.
And after some time, the interest for the original game was gone, so was for all the other games, except the last one I had motivated myself for playing. This game I was now really interested in playing.
To no surprise, it was as boring as ever. Though now I have lost interest in the original game as well and don't have to deal with those thoughts.
What I'm considering is:
1) Do you go through some kind of thought pattern which motivates you into doing stuff you don't want to?
2) Is it possible for you to go through this thought pattern, but for stuff you really want to, i.e. motivate yourself for the right kind of stuff? Or are there other hidden factors that makes you not doing this (i.e. it seems boring, eventhough when you first started, it was interesting(?) enough for you to decide to work on this project, so something is now hindering you maybe?)? If so, maybe you can hinder the wrong stuff the same way?
I wish you the best in your efforts!

I never feel like washing my hands after taking a dump.
The water is cold, it doesn't feel nice, and it takes time.
Though of course I do wash my hands! I want others to be well as well, eventhough I don't feel like it.
You can very well be right Fauch, only Doom can answer your question, but feelings and wants may not be aligned for several reasons!

Well, it's hardly a secret education system is **** in Poland. We have outdated methods of learning a million useless things by rote, and "the grand finisher" of a college is the grand presentation which consists of 60-70 pages of text and the said presentation for the "jury"> Since I'm finishing a tech university, I have to include a project of something, while a student of humanistic degree would just have to throw in 70 pages of random knowledge from books. I see no sense in this, but what do you actually expect me to do, dump 3 years of my college "career" and go to to the local supermarket and start working as a cashier there?
Education bores the **** out of me, but I have to get it, otherwise, I will be limited to things that will be even more ****ing boring - for the rest of my life.
Getting through with this is pretty good compared to 40 years of working behind a cash-desk, washing dishes or whatever ambitious jobs you can get in Poland without Bachelor-degree equivalent. (actually, bachelor-equivalent compared to US is pretty useless, you need at least Master-degree equivalent and you're still pretty much at heavy risk of being unemployed because there's TWO MILLION students in Poland with trends still going up(a country that consists of 38 million people). Which all want work after they're spitted out of their college with their oh-so-high degree.
And the average payment I can hope for doesn't exceed 500 euro anyway, so yeah. I have a bright and shiny future before me. I'm pretty sure you'd be also "rather" annoyed at the need of getting through those stupid learn-by-rote years, presentations and all just to struggle to get any job, and after finally finding one, get a crappy pay.
Still beats the alternative aka dump college, sell tomatoes for 40 years for 300 euro per month.

The reason I ask, is I'd like to know, if you'd still see your current behaviour (gaming part) as an addiction, if you were financial independent forever.

I don't think so, but that would depend on my health, my sport activity decreased for instance for the last two years because of my knee problems. If I were healthy and had cash, I'd prefer bike, martial arts or other activities over PC most of the time.

Hmm.
I would ANYTIME prefer being a cashier in a supermarket for 300 €/month than making something for a couple of years that would bore me to death for eventually MAYBE earning 500 € and maybe being unemployed.
The supermarket will, since you are probably more intelligent than the average supermarket worker, enable you to advabce through the ranks to market manager and later even to something like county manager.
It is silly to follow through with something that depresses you to become and do something that depresses you.

Long story. After running away from biology (aka the worst failure of my time), I found myself at pretty nasty situation. Either the army (it was mandatory in Poland then, now it's not, army is professional nowadays) or Warsaw Tech. That's because my father works here and could get me added to the lists (they were already closed).
Needless to say I chose Warsaw Tech...
First year was actually cool and I stayed... which I soon found a mistake... should've quit and study something else. But well, stupid me.

I hope this is not too off-topic/hijacking.
What was it with biology (I remember you found out biology actually sucked big time) that attracted you in the first place? Maybe it still exists?
