Fallout 3 is boring me to tears
So I have put about 25 hours into this game and I just can't take it any more. It's so boring. Is it worth finishing or should I just cut my losses and move on to something else?

Might as well finish it. Otherwise the 25 hours will be a complete waste of time as opposed to a big waste of time.

Yeah but if I've got to put another 25 hours into it to finish it, I'm going to pull my hair out. I just rescued my dad from some bizarro computer simulation.

I played more than that and I don't think I found my dad 
but, yes, I felt it got repetitive quite quick, unless you manage to get your hand on some good weapons, then you can have some fun for a few more hours.

I think I wasted whole hour-and-a-half on that game before feeding it to the ducks.

I guess what I was asking was: is the ending at all interesting, storywise or gameplay wise? Or is it just another old building with some super mutants wandering around?

I probably spent more than 100 hours on that game and I never finished the main quest. Seemed too lame.
It's about exploring imo, finding weird places and stuff...

Well, there is a lot to do, but it isn't the best game 
Enjoyed , but not for more then it deserved

The ending is bad. No, scratch that - the whole main plot is bad. Just go explore and do side-quests. There's some fun stuff here and there.

You're pretty close to the end now.
Anyway, the ending is a building formerly crawling with super mutants now crawling with enclave. But you get to choose your ending.
The side quests are where the fun really is. Too bad the game was kind of buggy.

Forget about Follout 3, this is what happens when a game is developed by people whose greatest inspiration comes from Captain Obvious. Try Fallout: New Vegas. It's hardly as good as Fallout 1 and 2 but at least it's pretty decent game, mainly because it's made by people who (unsurprisingly) actually give a damn about the Fallout world, and not, say, the world of The Elder Scrolls where a random rock from the landscape has more personality than 95% of the NPCs.

To be honest, I think the best is still Fallout 2 but I consider Fallout 3 to be its equal, almost. But I think pretty highly of all Fallout games, including New Vegas and Tactics.
Hmm.. If I would rate them from 1-10, it would be like this:
Fallout 2 *10
Fallout 3 *10
New Vegas *9
Fallout *9
Tactics *8
Yeah, I just love my Fallout! XD
