Yeah, great advice, ignore a person you really like, go pick up the closest bimbo, she may be boring but SHE IZ NOT FROM TEH INTERNETS OMG I HAVE SO MUCH REAL LIFE.

Calm down and learn to read, friend. Nobody is advising him to have cyber-sex.

If he chatted with somebody he likes on msn or wherever, and he decided he likes her and wants to meet her in real life, what's so "wrong" about encouraging him to do so?

from what i've read hes talkin about someone around here, whos name, age, gender, location he doesnt know

Thus we're telling him to go and check it out. At worst scenario, he will be disappointed and move on.

It's better than regretting he never tried it.

Cause girls always like the good guys. Heh.

If you have nothing to say leave him alone, Superior. It's better to let someone learn from experience, as he will never learn from the way you write. For some people distance relationship works, even though you cannot do it others can. So give it a rest.

i would respond... but whenever i see your name, i find myself back on your facebook page have a rule of not making hot girls cry, im nice like that

i would respond as well but i dont tend to lower myself to certain levels, and making someone as sad as u cry is plain mean, just not my style... karma will take care of you, all the best, cheers

Your actual age: 24
Your mental age: 14

Pull yourself together. Your "I'm superior" and wannabe smartass attitude will get you nowhere in life, you seem to me like an insecure kid having to come on here to make yourself feel better by ranting on others. I mean, just looking at your profile I would guess your age between 12 and 14. "Ruler of all". "Hellion, Hellius. Hell". Lol.

some people really make it sound like internet is full of crazy psychopaths not able to give a damn about anyone.

Quote:
i aint got no problems bro, ur the one hiding behind a screen in your relationship, scared of your own shadow and happy ? u live once my man, just freakin once, if ur hiding from life thinkin your happy, u go ahead and waste your youth... im gonna slam the shiiiit out of everybody if i feel like it, and if it helps one poor dude and gets the msg through, gets him to grab the life by the balls and LIVE IT THE WAY ITS MEANT TO then my slamming did some good... deal with it, just plz dont start crying....

It sounds like you are the one who is scared actually. trying so hard to show that you've got balls tends to prove it.

Quote:
it doesnt work for anybody, its a psychological fact, distance relationships are just supplements for the real thing, u feel like u have a relationship so u dont have a need to actually look for one, its like cheating in heroes, lazy people takin care of their needs in a fake way, it seems like its working when in fact it leaves huge emptiness, its called lying to yourself, study some psychology and u'll realize what im talkin about, its better to burst the bubble at the beggining, more productive than wasting the years he'll never get back

what have you read about psychology? feeling empty has actually nothing to do with not having a "real" relationship

I dated someone on here in the heroes 3 community & that got shot straight to hell lol.

I got a good feeling about the one I am in now.
We talk everyday, we video & Mic chat all the time.

We get along very well.
The big test is when we meet in July.
We know we have to be patient about this.

When people start bragging about their IQ as a means to show how great they think they are, all it really does it prove they are the loser everyone believes them to be.

Most people who brag about a high IQ have never actually been measured, and even if they have, the fact that they would try to use it as a way to establish their level of intellectual superiority shows that they don't really understand what IQ is to begin with, what it actually measures, what its limitations are, and why it really is only a small fraction of what we call intelligence.

In my experience, people who really are intelligent rarely feel the need to demonstrate the fact by throwing useless figures in everyone else's face.

EDIT: And more to the point, intelligence does not equal wisdom.

LMAO

Quote:
i have a degree in psychology, relationship is a part of "humans fulfillment of their emotional needs", google Maslow's hierarchy of needs if u wanna learn more, we are social animals, we need other people, relationships of any kind are a must, virtual ones are a supplement also known as relationships for lazy people coz it gives u the so called right symptomes when in fact its cheating your limbic system... leading to emptiness... true story, feel free to research it...

lol, tell me what school you were in, so that I never put a foot in there

humans certainly need each others for their physical needs, but for the psychological side, I'm not convinced.

I remember seeing that pyramid of needs. it seems to promote the occidental system where the highest need is to be recognized among your peers, if possible, by having a superior position to them.
(sounds like you learnt that lesson well, btw)

oh, and what have you accomplished, besides becoming one of the most arrogant people ever?

Hehe, I wonder if this is what JJ saw in me, when he said I was superior... Well now I at least know what it means to "be superior".

Hi Superior.
First, I am certain you mean well and it seems like you're really trying to save me, from myself. I really appreciate your effort and I'm certain you'll in the future be a valuable member. Though I think you still haven't gotten used to how things works around here, which is quite clear from some of the stuff you write, and your general tone. In any case, I'd like to thank you for your concerns and attempt to show me your reality.

I'd like to suggest that you think about how you approach people here, I mean, is it really necessary to come with a personal insult every time? I don't know how you're used to communicate online or how those people were like, but let me tell you this, the people on this community, they're really great! Really, they're just plain awesome. It's the best community I've ever seen and you don't need to come of aggresively at all, at these parts.

If I remember correct, we've talked earlier and you seemed like a really nice guy then. Maybe a bit stubborn, but hey, when something has our interest, aren't we all?

Anyway, how one thing works here, or at least I believe how it's supposed to work, is that a thread has a topic and people write about that topic. It's not like you've to be strictly on topic or anything, but it gets a bit tiresome when small details are discussed. Don't worry, you're not the only one not respecting others topics, I myself tend to fall in the same trap as you have done. Mostly when I happen to get a bit too emotionally into something.

As such, since this is a thread on how to start a relationship and not a thread on whether a relationship formed through the internet can be just as good as a relationship formed through interaction in real life, I've decided to create such a topic for you, where you can discuss with the people you want to. Here it is: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=34979
I'd appreciate it, if this discussion could be continued in said thread. Hopefully, without going into a personal level about each of the posters.

You're still very welcome, in my opinion, to post here, but please stick to the topic.
It'd be kind of you, if you'd delete the one on one conversation you've had with pretty much everyone, but that's of course up to you.

It's hard enough to start a romantic relationship with someone in real life. But at least that can be desirable, unlike this.

Yep and that's just the problem I suppose.

Withuot a clear idea of how to make it succesful, interacting seem way too dangerous in my opinion.

You know, it'd be so much cooler if a girl I happen to have a crush on would just go ahead and abduct and rape me or something, that way I wouldn't have to deal with all this bull...

Actually, funny how that's the story of how I was born, oh well.
