I do not believe they will end up as flythroughs rather than 2.5 animated as was the original goal.

i mean any images or hints in which direction are devs going to make it???
or after the game released Ubi just stopped communicating entirely?

Concerning the hidden model of Necropolis town screen, I am not a fan of "Egyptian/Mesopotamian" undead at all, but if the Necro town looked like this, I would be pretty satisfied

Ooh pwetty. Though I admittedly like BH's design quite a bit, I find it refreshing. I really am intrigued to finally see each unit's dwelling and how they will all look as a whole in a fully built town.

Do you have ANY information on when they expect to have town screens?? This is getting ridiculous.

This is doubly aggravating for me but I know nothing more than how they are supposed to look. Have not actually seen them nor do I know anything about their development.

Hi Yall.
Long time, no see? Why? Because I have not played HoMM6 yet. Why not?
No town screens.
So tell Ubisoft that I've been playing HoMM since I got the PC Gamer demo in the days of coconut monkey in the 90's. There isn't much more satisfying in this game than to have a castle built, shipyard and relic included, and just sit and look as the music plays.
I was going to buy this game day one, but then I heard about no town screens.
No town screens? No thanks. No purchase.

I can't express how strongly I want things to hurry up and for this game to be fixed. Unfortunately, the endless delays continue and things are growing more complicated. I'm afraid I really just can't say anything more useful or be more specific for now.

I didn't realize how important the town screens were until we didn't have them anymore.
It wasn't initially a dealbreaker for me when I found out that they weren't included, but as I've been playing MMH6 more and more, I feel more acutely the growing town-screen-shaped hole in my heart.
I wouldn't think that the lack of a simple animated screen of a town would detract so much from the experience, but it truly does. I am as baffled as I am disheartened.
Please Black Hole, right the wrongs that you done to the loyal HoMM fans as soon as possible.
I'm going to have to go to youtube now to get a nice HoMM3 town screen fix. Hell, if that doesn't do it, I might even need to put the Rampart on my desktop background.

as for how the things are at the moment
i would make a guess that there won't be any Town-Screens untill the 1st expansion
and TownScreens will be a feature to boost the sales for expansion
thats what it seems
p.s. and personally TownScreens in Expansion will totally convince me to buy it!

No, not even soon(TM) ... Soon(TM) means it'll be within the next couple of months. "As soon as possible" means "we have no clue when it will be done, but don't expect anything to happen within the next 6 months".

Just to clarify, that Naze's screenshot is taken from Allods Online and has no connection to the Heroes (except its made by Nival).
