You like giving advise? Give it here
Well, you guys were very eager to give tips to Aculias. Well, we girls need some as well.
I am trying to find a new BF but no success so far. ANyone any fresh and bright ideas how it can take place? It is easy on the Net where I meet guys with similar interests (fantasy, Heroes) but it seems in my RL there ain't such.
:-( I'm not really the disco night girl and I don't think I will ever be. And OT, don't make passes at me that I want jerks. I do NOT.

I want to make it clear
Lith is the love of my life but we both agreed having this sort of relationship is equal to suicide. We understand each other well and share everything and we have always been friends- what we will always be. However, at some time we were supposed to look around for the RL thing... and I can't find such. I need Lith but since I can't have him, I need a substitute.
What else can I say.

Well I know the feeling of wanted to be with the right person but cant happen, it's unfortunate but as long you can become friends.
Let me try since I suck at this.
Got to be careful about guys because they may seem sincere in the beginning then use & abuse you later, & may be stuck in a relationship.
Some guys just want to use you forchoirs sex etc.
Guys usually like to make the first pass, which you can tell but guys are sensitive in some ways.
We fear that women will cheat *& they expect too much from us.
Try dating awhile & get to know him, you can tell when their honest.
Meet their parents, that could be a good step.
Imature relationship could be like a high school love which can lead to broken heartache.
We are sensitive too so dont treat us mean & dont put us down, especially dont ignore us whren friends are around anywhere.
HONESTY.
I know women always they only look for hoenesty, love, loyalty etc.
We want to know the rest that you hide like when describe how you like a guy.
Looks,money etc, most women I know like a certain type of guy when it comes to going out with someone.
If there's no honesty 100% then there's no relationship.
There will be someone out there for you buuuuut.
If you start mourning another love or someone that should of been your love, then that relationship wont work either.
Gotta give the guy a chance & it's really rare to find that kind of compatibility.
Patience is the key.

The problem is that i don't have a CLUE WHERE to find this guy. I think I can handle a relationship but first I have to find the partner, you see. This is where I suck.
I appreciate what you said... I think I know what to do when i meet the right one. I always know when I do. But... I have seen only one guy for me and he's Greek.

While I am not the best person to give dating advice (see 'I'm a cluts'), It is true that when you don't want a man they throw themselves at you. As for the right guy, I don't know if there is one. I was so in love with my ex I let him treat me pretty nastily- nobody who is worth you bothering about him will ever hurt you just because he can, or try to change you. The perfect man is somebody who sees your faults and loves them. Just don't go changin'! (In fact, your perfect man does seem to be lith..)

Nope, not all guys do that (I don't)! If you don't like me! Fine! Lots of fish out there waiting to be fished. Patience and understanding her feelings always count, so I should respect it! Who know's sooner or later things might become vise versa.
@Milena: I haven't experienced your situation so, I don't really know what to say except: "Don't just stand there wait, do something!" If you know what I mean. I don't say you flirt, but go out more, be social, and hangout to a place where there's lots of guys. There are lots of guys out there looking for someone too.

The problem is
I have no one to introduce me to others. My friends all left me- they went to study in other cities and countries. So, I'm all alone. I don't know how to make friends.... my colleagues and I never go out. They never invite me to parties. :-(

What about the supermarket? Don't laugh, it's a really good place to meet people, aledgedly. Or get a dog. Walking dogs helps. Or force your work to have a 'work do'. We medical types have 'em all the time- we go out and harass waiters!!

My problem is:
I dont drink!
I used to drink, and other stuff alot. I was the best guy in the circle, cuz I got an apartment first!
It was to easy man.. REal Easy!
It's been along time since I partied, Ect ect..
And now I'm in the Navy! I'm going to snow port's and everything!! But I'm not that kind of guy anymore!!
W-T-H Am I SUPOSSED TO DO!! I live on a ship! AND I REFUSE TO BUY A snow!!
Women on this ship provide flirtatious relief... I think that's all in my case but I'm losing it little by little.

That is absolutly no where near what I'm looking for!
If I wanted to meet someone for a few day's, I would do just that when they all scream at us on the pier.

I wish I could
But I'd lose more than I could gain, my friend. This love brought me unbelieveably deep depression. I was on medication for some time. Do you think I can handle more? I don't.
