Well, I like the Necromancers because of their skeletons 
Necropolis creatures combined with Tant's Animate Dead can decrease your loses in first battles to minimum. Fortress isn't bad (with Mighty Gorgons), but their 2nd and 3rd level creatures aren't very good... The best thing in Fortress is it's music...

Okay, okay, I explain my point of view
Thanks Thunder for all your strategies.
Okay, there are a lot of efficient strategies which make fortress very strong. But I never said that fortress was not a good castle. I just talk about units, on the battle field. For a god palyer, fortress is not too hard to play, but for a beginner, fortress is week. You can't say that wyverns and dragon flies are not mass dying if you don't use them well, and it's not so easy. And don't forget I never played SoD, and in h3 and AB, lizards warrioirs are not very usefull. Only 16 per weak, only 2/3 damage, aren't really good killers.
For the inferno, I know the power of castle gate. But I just talked about units!
And don't forget: I love to play with these towns!

Fortress. As long there arent loads of Impcaches, Abondoned etc, around, best town and always most fun.

oh yes, the music
I give a big importance to music, so my favourite music in a town is this one of tower. Its problem is that it is very law volume, so you're obliged to put the sound louder to hear it well.
I didn't talk about conflux. I don't really like it, not because of the charm of its units, but because all its strategy is based on phoenixes, not really exciting. And I found the phoenixes are two strong because of their price and their growth.

bless and curse are not mind spells (otherwise they wouldnt work on titans, which have mind spell imunity). Undead are not affected by morale (but affected by luck), and not affected by bless or curse.

Stronghold has been my fav pretty much throughout the series.
They have an earthy quality I guess I find appealing.

stronghold it lets you get AB's by day 6th if you play like me and all of their troops require some tactics and is fun

They are all good, that´s what made h3 great...the good balance.
For every town there was a different tactic used to clear the map, my fav. was prolly Inferno with demon hording..
Fortress was nice too, the flies made a difference for scouts and as blockers vs. shooters, usually had to use the other fortress creatures carefully coz of their slow speed, it was a very interesting town to play.

actually you put my 3 favorite castles all in the same vote. Dungeon is the best cause well Black Dragons are dope. Necro for Nercomancy. And i love walking around with Arch Devils especially against Diamond or Gold Golems.

I pick tower since it has three shooters and is a magic faction, and even though niether shooter nor magic are the best choices I think they are the funniest! And why play a boring team to win when you can play it fun and loose?

Conflux, easily!
One of the mightiest, or at least the best equipped, 6 lvl units; spell immunity and spellcasting ability within each of the 4 upgraded elementals; 7 level units are the fastest and produced 4 per week, and the Storm Elementals, as 2nd level units (could compare to certain 4 level ones, if you ask me), just speak for themselves.
Or it could be Tower and Castle as well, though the Archangels are mostly the only reason why I play the latter.

Favourite town?
Mmm i guess necro. I like to squeeze every drop of human blood.
Im not very fan of choosing a town that adapts the map (but i now that i should be), i play with the town i want when i want. But lately just randomized heroes & towns.
Whenever i play another human, i try to avoid tower & dungeon as with those towns i have always won. This doesnt mean they are the strongest, just means that people i play with do not know how to stop them.
If i play against my girl then i choose exactly the opposite town that logic would dictate as in a form of training.
She´s at my side and says her favourite town is Fortress & i know it is as she usually considers two options: Fortress or Conflux.
BTW she says she hates imps. Sorry for the off-topic.

For the best town i play with: Dungeon. I'm night undefeatable among my friend with Dungeon (35/36 wins, 36/44 i played with Dungeon )
Favourite (cosmetical): I just love Fortress. But that town is just too hard (Although Chaos Hydra is the best lvl 7 in my eyes =/)

Fortress (it's hard to do well but if you do... hohoho!) mostly due to their concept though.
Necro because necromancy is just awesome and unlike Hollywood, in Heroes undead are fun - even phun if I don't screw up.
