Aha, no I didn't mean in that way. 
Apparently there are a lot of other people with the same problem, so I'm just going to wait for more patches.
(under normal circumstances I would have searched even more for solutions myself, but today however I'm a lazy snow.)

You've activated it on steam right? Why not delete the disc installed version and download it all from Steam?

So I got it to work. ( that was a long time ago now.)
In any case I don't know if you guys have tried Co-Op, but I really recommend that you do if you haven't, because it have some totally awesome story-lines there as well.
It's just epic, and most of the puzzles are really interesting.

Haha no I don't hate you Noct.
I was just avoiding this thread until I had played Portal 2, I only skimmed through it previously...
Unfortunately I don't think I have much time to play any more CO-Up in the closest future. (Starcraft 2 is taking a lot of time again.  )
