Many problems in life for an individual.
You just learn to cope with it.
People cope with it differently.
I guess that means there is no real right or wrong answers.
Kind of like raising kids

I have no idea what to think of this, or to call it. I don't even know if it's a problem.
Let me first tell you, I'm an only child and as such I've never had any bond with siblings. Now to begin from the start, today I found out that a very good friend of mine is having sex with her younger brother.
My initial reaction was it was strange and to some degrees disgust. However, I have no clue how people bond with their siblings, I don't think I can put myself in such a situation. As such my reaction was just to say it's not something I find weird.
Anyhow, I can certainly live with having a friend who've sex with her brother, but I want to be a good friend to her, yet I have no clue how a good friend should act in such a situation. I don't think it's my place to tell about their relationship to anyone, I have no clue how their bond are, and I can't place myself in that situation being an only child, so I don't think it's my place to try to come with advice either.
Heck I didn't even know what to call the headline. It bothers me, not because I think what they do is wrong, but because I'm afraid I'm not being a friend at all, and I have no clue on how I should act.

Well I've got a sister and I find it disgusting. I could never imagine myself having that kind of relationship with her. I do love her very much but I never think of her sexually and if you're normal then you wouldn't think of your brother or sister in a sexual manner let alone bloody have sex with them. How I would act if I found out my friend was having sex with their sister or they were having sex with their brother? I'd tell them my honest opinion and say it's disgusting and you need help.

I really don't see a problem with what two adults choose to do with each other... I mean, it only involves them so whatever.
Now, you wanna be a friend and help out so... eh... If anyone else found out about their little special relationship their social life (or well, most likely every part of their life, including business) would probably go nuclear... so if I were you I'd probably advise them to consider if it's really worth it.

You don't see a problem with two adults, who are siblings,m having sex with one another? Yeah it's their life but do you not at all find that a bit weird and disgusting? Maybe I'm the weird one for thinking that's wrong but I doubt it.

No I don't see a problem with it, I mean, if they tried to get a child I might think it was a little irresponsible considering what the effects on the child might be, but as long as it only involves the two adults I have absolutely no problem with it.
Of course, all our actions affect those around us, and I guess the friends and relatives of the two siblings might take some damage due to their acts... but that's more of an indirect damage so I dunno...

Well sex with two adults would generally consist of just them unless you find somebody as weird who likes seeing two sisters or siblings have sex then yeah. It's the same bloody as you for god sake. If anybody of their family found out or their friends then I can rightfully assume they'd be as disgusted as I would be. Sure they're adults and whatever they do is their own business but siblings should be a no go and can't they find somebody out there that isn't related? Seriously?

I considered making a counterattack to that but I realised I'd be penalised for racism so I didn't instead I answer to the discussion seriously.
10. Who am I to judge what people do behind closed doors? If someone wants to bang his/her sibling I don't care anymore. Just like I don't care for gays either. It's their choice. Keep it out of my eyes and I'm cool. Personally I see banging your sibling of the opposite sex less wierd than banging a guy's ass.

Incest has potential for concern because you have to ask what would happen if practicing it became the norm and everybody was banging their sibling/parent/child. Not only would society become dramatically more self-isolated than it already is, but offspring would be an issue.
It's not the same thing as asking "What if everybody was homosexual?", because most people seem to have an inherited disposition to be heterosexual. On the other hand, the aversion a person typically has toward the idea of banging a family member seems to be largely acquired. If you never met your sister and one day you encountered her on the street, you might very well have sexual thoughts toward her without inhibition. If you grew up in an atmosphere where banging your sibling was normal, rest assured, you would likely do it.

If I'm not completely wrong, the main reason for that taboo was the degeneration problem for the - in earlier times inevitable - offspring between siblings. Also keep in mind that there was times when sex was justified only with a view on having offspring.
All that means, if you are ok with sexual partnerships that do not have the purpose to produce offspring, then there is nothing wrong with siblings having sex either.
Admit it, ohfor, you are just jealous.
