Just want to share something
This is on one hand kind of pathetic, but I really want to do this, because I was genuinely really psyched about this gift I got, like two weeks ago. See, some of you guys know I have this endlessly platonic relationship with this person and I got this gift from her and I was originaly going to post something along the lines of: "you can all proverbially suck it, HC, because I got the most epic gift ever" and then post it, but that would be cutting in its epicness. I also want to share it for some reason in its own thread, so everyone can awkwardly not post in it. 
Because I got a hand-drawn birthday card from her and that's just beyond words, guys, honestly. Sure, it came a little late, but I wasn't expecting anything, especially especially that seriously required work or something.
Also, my real name isn't Bob for the non-existant person I had fooled by my different internet personas and who doesn't have me on FB or talks to me on MSN. The other side and it also has the nicest wish ever given on the inside, but that's personal.
Of course now I have to one-up her.

No, of course not, because she has made it pretty on what terms this relationship is. And you're right about "years."

Think it's because English is sort of my second language (and for some reason happy birthday wishes are more common in English than dutch for some boring reason).

Would suggest a present which is the most amazing one I ever got, but you guys just arent there....
If you wanna get her something for b-day, buy her a star at International Star Registry and write something personal, whenever you look at the stars you feel close to her, stuff like that... having an actual star with your name, well, girls love that and it doesnt really cost much.... thats on that subject, on the other one let me be an ass for a second and suggest that you either take it to the next level with her or find a girl you can actually wake up next to....
Sorry if it's a bit harsh, but somebody needs to do that as well

Honestly, I don't care too much for other women, in general.
And I can take rough, smithey.
And now I start to sound like DF, when everyone is telling him how to pick his women, but in an opposite way (I get stuck to one, while he cruises through several) (do you actually still do that, DF?).
And I know she's a big vampire geek, so I bought a second-hand copy of "the historian" (because I'm classy) and a copy of "let the right one in" and now I just have to do something with a card... Probably put some gunpowder in it or something.

Don't think so, she doesn't have a lot of spare time to actively seek out vampire movies and novels or follow the media we follow to find out about relatively (to us, belgians) obscure movies.
