Anyone for testing H5 maps?

I have a few maps that I've wanted to post but they need more testing. Once or twice by me is not good enough to let them go.
I am really interested in being given a short-list of feedback; what faction was played, how much time, hero stats and of course, any quality issues or ideas.

Note: With H5.5 Eternal Essence in the works, as time goes on there could be more and more help needed.

Here are each maps info to see if anyone is even interested before I link them.

Path to Qays (XL (small underground) 5-player FFA) Four factions (Haven, Stronghold, Inferno and Sylvan) are approx. at equal distance and all joined by a single road. The Academy town of Qays is at a distance and not easy to reach but the wizards can bop-in and get in the early fray. "Good slugfest for a bit, won with stronghold"

Waterways 2 (XL (no underground) 4-player(8-towns on the map)FFA & Teams) Necros, Demons, Wizards and Sylvan towns. A lot of ship-action on this map. Spent a lot of time of the rivers, landscape and lighting. "Won with Academy, this one's fun."

Middengard Impossible (tiny UG)2 or 4 player
This map is ONLY for Human Players, in Hotseat Mode. Lan should work but I've not tried it.

The Map is very much like that of Middle-Earth 3rd-age. There are no scripts or related story-line but many familar places are on the map.
a. 2-player, Player 1 is Elf, Dwarves and Men Pl. 2 is Orcs and Necros.
b. 4-player, 1= Rivendell & Erebor, 2=Gondor & Rohan, 3= Isengard & Gundabad 4=Mordor & Ruhn

It seems that is the way of it for H5 at this late date.

Let's hope {5.5,E.E.} will re-fire many of the real players, so WE can get some good testing and feedback assistance without getting de-railed from our main focus.

I'll HCM you and give my E-mail if that route is OK?

<IMO> Things are in a sad state right now. Here at HC, I've seen only 2 maps posted recently ("Axis of Evil" and probably another great map from Mike80d). I have them both book-marked, wanting to play & support each map-makers efforts but I'm in the same leaky boat. Seems we all are. Maybe we should start a small circle until things take off again and I do think they will. H6 sounds good but I believe it will have a fine sister-ship in H5.5. Sort of like the days when I owned a tricked-out 57 and a 200XS. Good stuff 2 ways.

yeah that sounds good. I'm going to stick to H5 for a while, I prefer to move on to the new things when the hoo-ha has settled down and the major bugs are sorted. Brand new games tend not to have as much creative contribution from the community either; often the best stuff is made by veteran gamers.

I'll pm you my email ad.

For anyone that would like to stroll through Middle-Earth at a time of war

Middengard {2-p1ayer}
MG2

Middengard {4-player}
MG4

Note: I've tested both with the New 5.5 E.E. and this "almost"  single-level "impossible-sized"  map played...beautifully!

I would not recommend playing this map with the old A.I. unless it is "by hotseat and all human-players".

"It's the deep-breath before the plunge"

Please HCM me any feedback.
Have fun, Markkur

Nope, I came to HC late by most standards and kept seeing mod-clashes.  I did not venture into any mods but have wanted to give this one a go.

To be honest, its the Editor where I think the work really needs to be done However I know it's a chicken and egg thing. No use making a map for a crummy game.

I spend far more time making maps than "playing" and whenever I play its testing
Have fun Baron and keep that creativity flowing!

More info

A Heads-up (Takes more than an afternoon)

I should adivse this about this map and many that I make; "if you want the typical bullrush map, then do not bother with this map. You'd be better off just loading a random RMG.  A friend and I played hotseat and enjoyed it but most here are not going to want to spend a lot of time covering the vast expanse of Middle-Earth

However, if you like to explore, want to play somthing in non-tournament mode, actually like the slow build-up to say level 25 versus enter building and poof you're there...then you may enjoy this map. Not many here will enjoy this map but there may be a few that do and it's for those folks...that it was made.
