and they were good last year
though they cheat with a brittish singer... I guess they do not elect their entries through democracy

I do not know if it because the rest of the world has been americanized and Germany is sticking with dubbing their shows for some completly unlogical reason when they are a western modern country, but the Germans have no sense of humor. At all.
Hitting someone with a guitar is not humor.
I believe there was a South Park episode about this.

How is Sweden the worst? You can't be serious. It is not the best song, but it had a very good show and he can sing.
And this was a HUNDRED times better than the last semi but that may be because of all the sound errors that were in the Swedish broadcast last time.

Fixed.
But, frightingly bad as I find the Swedish song, more disturbingly it's still not in the worst half of what was in this semifinal from what I heard (admittedly, couldn't stand to sit through it all, so some of it was only partial listen).

YOU THINK THE MARQUIS DE SAADE CAN SING? You need your ears checked, pal. This is -easily- Sweden's worst entry in the last decade, AT LEAST.
The act is annoyingly symbolic and the "message" is nausiatingly overbearing and both only exist to cover up for Saade's non-existing qualities.
It is the sheer definition of eurotrash. It is one of the worst, if not the SINGLE worst act (I refuse to call it a "song") this edition, which is also one of the worst editions in the last 10 years or so.
For F's sake.

I will never ever support a Justin Bieber lookalike... That show made me utter a promise not to say the word popular forever... (not that it will be carried out anyway)
I have mixed feelings about this semi-final, definitely stronger than the 1st, but still not good. Sad to see eurovision getting weaker by the year. I will really not be surprised if Germany wins again... that would suit this el horrible thing fairly well.
P.S. I will support Estonia for the rest of this semi-final. Be it a sign of baltic brethren or whatever, but it was the sole song with a catchy chorus.

Rockefeller street. I know rockefeller center or something is a place in NY. Annnd a dude named rockefeller  Other than that, no clue if there was any specific meaning behind it.
EDIT: I HOPED SWEDEN WOULD MISS THE FINAL.
