I didn't see anything wrong with it besides the fact that the girl had her hair hanging in front of her eye. Please, just let that trend die.

WHAT? You haven't played Diablo 2?! Oh, you're missing one of the best games ever made. A unique experience. Just install it this moment with the expansion. Hurry up!

Diablo is a mindless click-fest so calling it "one of the best games ever made" is quite a bit over the top. I like the first Diablo quite a lot actually but I endured the second one mainly due to the cinematics between the acts - which are nothing short of beautiful indeed - while the game itself pissed me off on multiple occasions. But then again de gustibus non est disputandum.

there are two kinds of games: deep, and fun. Rarely it's both.
Diablo is one of the kings of the "fun" category. it's shallow, but satisfying as hell.

I'd gladly agree if we're talking about the first Diablo but the second... Act I bored me so much that I found myself quitting the game way too often before finally dispatching Andariel and moving to the 10 times better Act II. Act III on the other hand is, in my not so humble opinion, among the worst designed group of levels in any game ever made. Act IV becomes enjoyable when you enter the River or Flame but not before that.
Actually Diablo II became a relatively good game with LoD and that doesn't mean that it didn't remain a mindless click-fest of course, but at least it became somewhat... fun. Still, it's far behind its predecessor and even further behind the games which I consider really good.

Well, Diablo 1 was awesome in atmosphere, music and the fun of killing things. Diablo 2 was all about greater content and better loot. They are different games. If you wish to have a complete Diablo 1 experience, try out mods: The Dark and The Hell. They make Diablo1 what it should really be with the extra content, but not taking any of the atmosphere away.

DF, I hope you see Duriel in you dream for that "shallow" thing
Seriously, it is both much fun and is deep for me. I don't know why you called it that.

What part of it is mindless when you have to calculate every frigging thing from every single stat and skill point, item crafts, cube recipes, runewords to clvl, itlvl, item drop possibilty, block and attack animation frames, skill synergies and everything? It is an extremely complicated game. You can of course ignore all the strategic aspects of the game that actually constitute the whole game and just dive into the enemies clicky clicky, not minding anything. But then you would end up calling the game "mindless" and "boring".
It is like Heroes at that aspect. When you look at the fan manual and all those synergies, sub-skills and the game system, and the calculations of the unit's stats and affectiveness of the abilities, spells, etc. you get actually it is a complicated game. But you can also choose to ignore it and select any skill to your liking every level up, just strike any enemy with any of your units that can attack it, ignoring the whole strategy. But you would be missing the whole point.

Sucks for you, but good for me. I have my studies to think about. :/
According to some shady facts, the reason why the game is being delayed so much is because they're having problems with their real money auction house.

Good. I hope they will remove it altogether. I hated it since day 1. It eliminates the fun of looting, which is one of the primary fun aspects in the game.

If those are complicated things to you, I'd suggest to check some P&P RPGs
Besides, I did not mean the mechanical complexness, or the lack of it. Merely the plot which is shallow like a puddle.

Thing is, once you've went past making a char (and a proper build), all that's left is right/left clicking
